Pretty nice

Ordered a burger and a thick shake on oat milk. The thick shake was amazing and the burger was pretty yummy too, just wish it was an all vegan place. Was pretty disappointed when I found out it was only vegetarian, so can't give it a higher rating

Best chicken replacement ive ever had!

As someone from Melbourne I think about going to Adelaide just to have this burger. Super delicious and fresh! Definitely recommend it to anyone who goes to Adelaide. Everything is able to be made vegan as well

Much better than the description 😋

The homemade burger patties are amazing! The seitan style bacon was a nice addition. The Mac and cheese balls were so good too. I couldn’t eat everything but I ordered big so I could try it. I managed to fit in dessert. Gf options too 🥰. The lemon rosemary gin cocktail was fluffy and delicious. Cool building too. Google maps makes it a bit tricky so go onto the arcade and see stairs to the right, go up and it’s on your left. A bigger space than I thought. Loved it.

Incredible

Insanely delicious food, wish I had chance to try more of their menu. The mac and cheese was sublime, so luxurious & rich. And the caesar salad was amazing particularly the maple croutons & coconut bacon were so so flavourful. Amazing.

Always enjoy this place when visiting the city!

They have a great range of food. The staff are also lovely- currently the special is the Huli Hawaiian burger, highly recommend!
I absolutely love the sodas too!
A must visit when you are in Adelaide!

Great option in the city!

Overall I liked the food but I personally found the flavour of the hotdog a little odd (my partner liked it though). I LOVED the Mac and cheese and would definitely recommend it. Overall it's a good option but I do think there are better vegan options if you're wanting something a bit "nicer", it however is good value for the price.

I do like that you can make everything vegan but I do feel like maybe the quality between vegan and vegetarian maybe wasn't the same. For the sunday it said "homemade icecream" but for the vegan version it was just 5 scoops of generic vegan icecream which was a bit of a disappointment.

Superb and not just junk food

My faves here are the vegan caesar salad, Cajun bowl, and sweet potato pie. It’s not all junk food!

I think they’re very good at bowls and salads so I just wish they did more of them…

Tater tots are something for special though so I often end up ordering them too.

And don’t forget to try the sodas, especially their more surprising flavours. The tummy tonic is weirdly good.

Vegan junk food staple

Two-bit is a go-to in the Adelaide CBD when I feel like treating myself to something a little less healthy (or not, they make a great salad too). Yummy options, sweet and savoury. I don't usually drink much other than water or tea, but I make an exception here as the soft drinks are fantastic (tummy tonic flavour 👌).

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fun location

Hits every time

This is my go-to spot whenever I head down to Adelaide. We split a chicken burger and a BBQ jackfruit burger with a Mac and Cheese side. They’re home made sofas were also incredible

Pros: Reasonably priced , Delicious , Home-made ingredients

Improving over time

Was not keen on TBV for quite a few years, but they have made some good improvements recently and now definitely a decent place to grab a bite with friends.

Pros: Decent price, Decent choice/variety, Good portions

Cons: Lots of sesame and nut including items, Seemingly understaffed

The best onion rings!

Trying to hold myself back from going there and getting a big serving of the best onion rings is going to be my challenge. I can’t stop thinking about them. We also had burgers and yummy soda’s. The staff were really friendly and I thought the girl at the front was really helpful to everyone who came in. It’s a bit of a hidden place but we’ll worth finding it.

Pros: Great menu, Amazing serving sizes, Funky furniture and decor

A bit of a trek with kids

Of course we had to try tbv while in Adelaide. To get here was a bit of a trek with kids. The elevator and balcony are quite tight. We also struggled to get everyone up the stairs and into the shop. (Three under 7)
Once we got in it became so much easier. They had board games!!
We ordered and gosh it was worth it.
The kids smashed their sofas
We ate everything
It was so good.
I need to go back without them to see the experience go from a 7 to a 10!

Pros: All vegan , Affordable, Board games for the kids

Cons: A bit hard to get to. It isn’t “right there”

Mockmeat experts

Their mock meat is homemade and delicious.
We ordered a Ceasar salad with mock fried chicken and the Buffalo Chicken burger - confirmed these items were vegan.
Service was good, order at the register and they will bring it to your table.
Food was delicious and affordable.
Will return when I am next in Adelaide and feel like mock meat.

Pros: Homemade mockmeats and sodas, Everything can be made vegan, Good atmosphere

Great spot

I went to this restaurant when I was an omnivore beginning to feel guilty about my eating habits. I actually think it was my very first meat-free restaurant! The food and atmosphere were great and the sodas were very unique. I’d be happy to return the next time I’m in Adelaide to try their vegan options😄

Great pick!

The food was yummy and rich! I was recommended to take the 'chicken burger', that was a great pick!
The place looks nice with a really cool terrace overlooking the main street.

Not sure I would re-order the 'Mozza sticks' however.

Wow, wow, wow!!!

My Arkan-Sauce burger was the best „chicken“ burger that I’ve ever had!!! Simply delicious, I wish we would have found this place earlier! The Baron Burger was also super tasty.

Pros: Delicious food, Great location, Friendly staff

Cons: Too far away from home

Cute space, nice food

Two Bit Villains is a cute welcoming space, and everything on the menu can be made vegan (or so I was told).
The thickshake was delicious and actually had flavour, not just milk with a tiny hint of the flavour you ordered.
The burger was nice, I quite enjoyed it. Not much to comment on it otherwise.

The chicken was, on a taste front, so great. The outside crunchy part was amazing, but the actual 'chicken' itself has a sponge texture, not a 'chicken' one. Again, taste wise, all of it great. It was just the texture of the fried chicken that could do with improving.
I had the tenders with ranch sauce, and I hated it and couldn't eat it (the sauce).
A note on that though- I don't remember if I liked ranch or not prior to being vegan, so it's quite possible I'm just not a ranch person and their ranch is fine to those who do like ranch sauce.

Pros: Lots of seating

Cons: No table service given venue size

Stumbled across

Bickering our way down Rundle Mall as he thought we were going to the botanical Gardens and I thought we were going to find something to eat before the dreaded 2pm witching hour when Aussie kitchens close. In the end he says WELL, YOU FIND US A PLACE WE CAN EAT AT, because we can never find anything other than side dishes for the vego unless we do our research beforehand. Spotting an intriguing sign that stated "Two-Bit Villians upstairs" we followed the map through the ye olde mall and found ourselves at a proper Cafe with balcony seating overlooking the city hub. They were still serving, and (bonus) is wholly a vego /vegan place that makes pretty much everything in-house. Two tasty fruit sodas (no straws, hard-core!), a pot-pie, a side of onion rings, and a bowl of veg/bean nachos quelled the hangry and provided stamina to walk thru the gardens on the trip back to the van. Win-win and happy to start finding 'our' places in a new city.

Pros: Great location for a city lunch, Down to earth food, Cheerful and knowledgeable service

Cons: Not easy to find

It's fine

A good option for vegan western food in the CBD but not the best. The burgers may look super appealing but unfortunately they fall short in taste, a bit unremarkable.

Now that V-Spot does burgers, I think spots like Two-Bit Villains will find it hard to compete with them.

Massive choice of vegan and veggie options

Never had seitan before today and I wasn’t disappointed! Lovely light filled cafe overlooking Rundle Mall. Beautiful range of sodas available (handmade in store) - we tried the Raspberry, Vanilla Cream Soda and the Tummy Tonic. My family of 4 left happy and stuffed to the brim!! #Veganuary

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Light filled setting, Games for kids to play

Cons: Kids may find the burgers a bit big
