Still thinking about the Fan Tuan months later

I literally still think about the Fan Tuan even though I last had it months ago. Please try it!! It's cheap ($5), hot and delicious. There's also a variety of frozen vegan bus and treats to take home as well.

Wow that looks amazing!!! I’ve been here twice but never saw that, maybe it’s a newer thing they added. Would you happen to know if they have it every day or only on some days like their Chinese donuts?

I love this place!

They have the best soy milk ever and it’s USDA Organic. The best fresh Tofu (and in so many different styles). They have Chinese Donuts Wednesday’s and Saturday’s, get there early, there is a line and they do run out. Yummy, veggie buns, red bean buns, etc.

Pros: Lots of vegan options.

Cons: Needs more vegan options. Lol

Very authentic, TONS of vegan options

This place is a great place to pick up a grab and go snack or light meal. Unfortunately, they do sell meat products, but pretty much every vegetarian product they sell is vegan, and it makes up more than half of the case. In the refrigerator case, there are green onion pancakes, mushroom balls (imitation meatballs), savory sticky rice dumplings (zongzi), and many types of buns, including scallion steamed buns and molasses and cranberry steamed buns to bring home. There are also braised tofu and tofu cold noodle salads. There is a hot bar with a variety of steamed buns and shao bing, of which the three flavors I saw (maltose (sweet), red bean (sweet), and salty (tofu and green onion)) were all vegan. Additionally, they had house peanuts to snack on. The sweet soymilk was as good as homemade. The freshly fried chinese savory donuts were out of stock by the time I arrived in the afternoon. Because they were out of savory donuts, I did not get the chance to ask if they could make their rice rolls vegan (rice rolls usually contain pork floss).

Of the items I purchased that I have already eaten, the molasses and cranberry steamed buns, soy milk, and savory shao bing have been my favorite, but I have a lot of stuff in the fridge that I haven't even tried yet and will be eating for days.

Pros: TONS of vegan options--sweet and savory, Extremely authentic, You can bring stuff home to make later

Cons: Sells meat products, No seating--it's not a restaurant, I did not see a vegan option for rice bowls
