Each day 2 dishes at lunch and the Norwegian kind of early dinner ("middag"), plus three wraps called "kubbe" of which 2 are vegan. You could eat there or take away, which is slightly cheaper. Cozy place, seats 12. Staff knows which food is vegan suitable. Price: Inexpensive more-less

In a country where cheap vegetarian restaurants are thin on the ground, it's always a pleasure to find a place like this. I had a really delicious, filling chipolate wrap which really hit the spot. The girl working there at the time was super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Great Food, Nice Decor, Friendly Staff
Cons: None Really... It's Expensive By International Sta

Best wrap ever

Went there hoping to get some vegan food, and was very happy with it. The wrap was absolutely delicious and tasted totally different compared to other wraps I had so far! The guy at the counter was very helpful and wanted to know how we found the restaurant - he did not know Happy Cow (so far!). I had a nice cup of tea, but you can also have tap water for free. They also have a bathroom - just ask for it, you have to go out and downstairs.

Pros: amazing wrap, water for free, mostly organic
Cons: small (but probably large enough)

Trondheim's fish-free haven

This place is truely amazing. In a city where not one dish is unnecessarily served without beef, chicken, or fish, i was able to find this entirely vegetarian and presumably organic haven in the city center. it was quiet and off the busy commercial streets, and though there was limited seating it was quite a comfortable and appropriate atmosphere. the server was amazingly helpful in deciphering the norwegian menu and recommending a mexican special with of the week, which had delicious bean chili, salsa and guacamole on rice and corn. the only downside was that there was a lack of vegetables, though all the other dishes i saw others eating were abundant with them. if you don't eat gargantuous amounts i recommend sharing a meal between two, making it even more affordable than the outrageous prices elsewhere in town. there was so much food i had to get a tray to pack up the rest of my dish to take back to my hotel with me!

Pros: healthy and delicious, good, fast service, friendly, passionate staff
Cons: Norwegian-only menu
