Amazing Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
The food at Bula Neobistro is outstanding! I live in Berlin, so we are used to fine dining, but this was something special.
Read moreI went there together with my family. I was very happy to see that the restaurant put an equal amount of care - if not more - into the vegan dishes. In some cases, my omnivore table partners were jealous of the dishes us vegans got. We chose the wine menu together with the dishes, which was delicious.
Some of my favorites were the snacks in the beginning, but the level of taste was consistent throughout.
They don't say in their menu online that they accommodate vegan diets. Keep in mind that you have to say that you are vegan when you book the table. They can also accommodate allergies/preferences you might have. Also, they don't have a vegan wine tasting menu.
For international travellers: They also speak English.
I would still give it 5 stars, but we can only give 4 stars for restaurants that still serve animal products.
Pros: Delicious food, Delicious wine, Fun ambiance and lovely service

Amazing vegan menu - Edit
I went here with a group of friends, and I did not expect the 10 course vegan menu to be this well made! I was very surprised that they gave the vegan menu very much thought, and was comparable with the non-vegan menu. The taste was delicious, and truly a journey. Paired with the wine-set, this was a really nice experience. Highly recommend!

The place has a really relaxed feeling, eventhough it is quite a fancy dining venue.
Read moreWe took the 5 course menue and we got 2 appetizers before the meals came. From all these 7 dishes we got there was one that we thought was average, the rest was just mind blowing. Also the wine was matched very well with the food and they had many organic wines.
The staff was super friendly and funny. We arrived at 21.00 and had to rush in the end to catch our 23.30 train, just because we enjoyed the food at a slow pace and they respected that.
The 5 course menu was about 650 NOK and for 10 courses you'll be paying about 1000 NOK a person. With an additional 550 NOK for wine. This is not your everyday place, but if you are an epicure and don't mind spending some big money for good food you should book a table here!
