Good food- great place for vegetarians - Edit
This is a pretty unusual place- a coffeeshop with all vegetarian stalls. I noted a yong tau foo, Mixed veg rice shop, fruit/drinks, sweets/fried puffs stall, a-la carte asian , prata (not open in the evening- at least not when I was there). So good selection of stuff.
Read moreI tried the a-la carte and it was pretty much the same as the other branches such as the bukit permai place (which I've been several times). Some of the dishes are great- mee goreng, gong bao chicken and some not so great- sambal kang kong, hotplate tofu. Big portions though, the smallest size (around $6) was plenty big enough for two to share. We had 2 mains, 1 noodle, 1 vegetable and rice and it was too much for two people. I know from visits to the bukit permaai branch that there are plenty of other good things on the menu. They're also happy to take out egg if required. Total cost $22 so very reasonable as well.
Decent place, well worth visiting if you want a selection of vege chinese/singaporean food. It was very quiet for 8pm on a thursday night so hopefully it does more business at other times of day.
I've given 4 cows as it has good vege food in foodcentre/coffeeshop terms. The food wouldnt be as good as restaurant (like say Ling Zhi) but it costs half as much so fair enough.
Pros: Selection of stalls, Decent food, Pleasant location

Nature Vegetarian Delights @ Sin Ming Ave has turned an entire Coffeeshop into a very Unique Feature! The Whole Coffee Shop with Zi Char Stall, Economical Rice and Teo Chew Porridge Stall, Roti Prata Stall, Yong Tau Foo and Laksa Stall, Dim Sum Stall, Hot and Cold beverage Stall, Fruit and Fresh Fruit Juice Stall, Grocery section, ALL selling PURELY Vegetarian Food.
Amazing! isn't it? And, they also have other outlets at Hougang, Bukit Purmei, Teck Chye Terrace and Kallang Bahru.
You may not find ALL the BEST Vegetarian Food in this Coffeeshop but the Extensive Array of Vegetarian food here, you will not be able to find it elsewhere.
Items such as Soup, Fried Carrot Cake, Thunder Tea Rice, Congee, kueh, Big Bun, Chee Cheong Fun, Pumpkin/Yam Cake, local delights (such as Mee Rebus, Mee Siam, Lor Mee, Chicken Rice etc), Western Food are available too. Reasonably priced - just like Zi Char's pricing, starting from $3.
I ordered "Gui Hua" Bean Vermicelli ($4), it is not "Ma Yi Shang Shu" (means Ants climbing up a tree). It is stir-fry Glass Noodle with Egg and Vegetables.
I requested for an eggless version and it was stir-fried with cabbage shreds, carrot shreds, bean spouts, mock ham, black fungus, green pepper chilli. It was served with vegetarian chilli paste and a lime, but I would think red chilli padi with lime juice, sugar and light soy sauce would be wonderful.
The staffs and Chefs are very friendly and flexible, if you want your food with egg, without egg, less oil, no mock meat etc, just let them know. I had even requested them to just sell me the Thunder Tea Rice Broth Paste only and they happily prepared for me. I just kept it frozen in the refrigerator and make a bowl of piping hot Thunder Tea Rice Broth when I crave for it.
They do have home-made barley drink (hot or cold) priced at 80cents and dessert too. The Barley drink is very different from others, it is rich and tasty.
BTW, this is a favourite lunch place for Taxi Drivers! You will notice there are many taxi parked at the car park during 12-2pm. Another feature!
