A Treat - Edit
While their food offerings are limited for now (but could foreseeably expand), what they do serve is quite good. Everything is prepared from scratch to order. Depending on your order, you may have a little bit of a wait, but it's just two people making it fresh, so it's justifiable.
Read moreThe desserts are lovely. The Oreo Shake is out of control. I always have to cap things off with that.
If you are in the Insadong area, please give them a shot. If you are not in the area, make a special trip for is. You won't be disappointed.

Best soy-cappuccino in Seoul - Edit
The coffee was great! Definitely the best (and maybe only good...) soy cappuccino I have ever had in Seoul. The menu was limited and when I was there they had no desserts. Maybe I was there too early, but I got a little disappointed. The place was not very easy to find. Look for a restaurant called "Good morning Hanoi", they share the space with them. They don´t take international cards, so remember to bring cash!

Most Creative Vegan Cafe in Seoul - Edit
The food they serve at Mimi and Kelly's are phenomenal! I have been to their cafe for a couple of times now and each time their food has exceeded my expectations.
Read moreMimi and Kelly's have a very limited menu, mostly consisting of beverages and a couple of light meals. The best item on the menu is the Mac n Cheese! It's very creamy and savoury, it absolutely blew me away!
I've been traveling for a month now, and I miss home from time to time. This Mac n Cheese reminds me of home and is the ultimate comfort food. It's got a homely taste and authentic feel. The owners, Mimi and Kelly are very proud of this dish too. They highly recommended it to us.
Another item that I liked on the menu, is the Coconut Cheese Toast! It's the vegan version of a grilled cheese toast. So guilty but oh-so delicious. When it was served, it's got cheese drooling over the side of the toast. You get the idea ;)
They are also happy to cook you any dishes that aren’t on the menu but which they have in stock. We once requested for spicy vegan rick sticks with cheese on top (tteokbokki).
Mimi and Kelly's also serve a variety of desserts. From Chocolate soft serve to a variety of baked cheese cakes, all of which are made daily. A lot of their food is fresh and home made. They even make their own butter and yogurt. That's a lot of work there but it shows in the quality of food they serve.
As for the beverage, Mimi and Kelly's does a wide range of flavoured coffee with soy milk, tea, non-alchoholic beverages, fruit juice and lassi!
In addition to the food being amazing, another plus for Mimi and Kelly’s is the location. Just off to the side of Insadong, a popular tourist spot, it’s the perfect place to rest your feet and fill your vegan belly after all your Korean souvenir shopping!
Mimi and Kelly are two lovely Korean ladies who is just starting out. They are constantly experimenting on different dishes to expand their menu. They are passionate, creative and ambitious people. They definitely have the potential to be the best vegan cafe in Seoul.
Pros: Creative, Convenient Location , Awesome Food
Cons: Opening Hours

Best Vegan Food In Korea!!! - Edit
Some of the best vegan Mac and cheese I've ever tried. The caprese salad is delicious with their homemade buffalo cheese. Mushrooms and toast very tasty, and hotdog and chips hit the spot.

This small cafe is really nice. The owner is very friendly and they do offer a good variety of small snacks like sandwiches and cakes. The pineapple lassi is a must try!

Mac and Cheese ~ - Edit
The Mac and Cheese was delicious! It came with a tasty cole slaw.
Read moreI had a bit of trouble finding the place. The building has signs for 'Hanoi', a Vietnamese restaurant, Mimi and Kelly's is on the first floor.
I only wish they took credit cards so I could have tried more, but it's my fault for having cash withdrawal issues.

Vegan soft serve - Edit
Great food! My husband got the peppermint mocha with whipped cream and Mac and cheese. I got the vegan soft serve - a reason to go back all on its own.

We had the coconut grilled cheese and the mac and cheese.
Read morethe sandwich was yummy but what I'm coming back for is the mac and cheese. It was AMAZING.
Great texture and taste. Hard to believe it was vegan.
The staff was super friendly. Their selection of teas and coffee (and now soft serve!) ranks this place in my top 5 vegan places to eat in Seoul.
Cons: no take out

Wonderful Addition to Insadong! - Edit
I visited today with two omni friends who were a bit wary of an all-vegan restaurant, but we all left so satisfied and impressed! Mimi and Kelly really outdo themselves with everything they offer! The delicious mac'n'cheese, peppermint chocolate latte, cream cheese, and soft serve all deserve special mention and love!
Read moreTalking to both the owners (who were the only wait-staff as well as cooks), they told me they love cheese a lot, and make all of the cheese on offer themselves - so flavourful!
I also noticed they served all organic teas, and they sell some soy candles and other goods as well.
I will absolutely be back again ASAP! :)
*Note - they are located on the first floor of a building that also hosts a Vietnamese restaurant, whose sign overwhelms their own. Look carefully! :)
Pros: Homemade cheeses and desserts, Organic teas, Friendly and helpful staff who speak English
Cons: Slightly long wait time
