I DIDNT know about the scandal 😨 - Edit
new to Gainesville and was recommended here for vegan food. Half the menu that had (v) by it is NOT VEGAN but vegetarian. Only a few vegan entres with avocado toast and vegan tofu scramble. The FLT is NOT VEGAN. Cashier said the croissant has butter on it and the fake bacon has egg. The Maude’s classic also has honey in it too. I also had no idea about the owner being a pedo. Don’t go here. If you see this and haven’t been: it’s not worth it. Yeah the food is fine but it’s not special enough to put money in their pockets. I had no idea…go to Opus or another nearby cafe. Plenty of other options in Gainesville.

Went here before I knew how horrible/creepy the owner was. It's overpriced, but even if it was dirt cheap, it's not worth giving business to a guy who creeps on girls.

I ordered a vegan quesadilla and it was incredible! Variety of coffees and drinks to choose from too. Will definitely be coming back.

The caption say it all. The food here is good, the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The ownership however, well I’ll just say you should google the scandal.
Read moreThat being said I find it hard not to patron this place as it’s open later than all the nearby coffee shops and offers so many vegan options. I’m a huge fan of the vegan tofu scramble sammich and again you can look past the ownership the atmosphere is great for studying etc. *sigh*

Their food and drinks are delicious. They have a TON of seating, and their outdoor patio seating is beautiful (lights strung up that light up at night). Fast service & nice baristas.

We bought two breakfast wraps - one vegan, one not - (even though it was dinner time) and my vegan wrap was SO good I thought maybe they mislabeled them. Very vegan savvy and delicious...made to order. Excellent atmosphere.
