Southern comfort vegan style

Very tasty vegan comfort food, moderately priced with good sized portions, freshly prepared. Excellent service, though there is sometimes a bit of a wait because of the fresh preparation, and being basically a one person operation. Highly recommend the fysh sandwich, fried lightly breaded banana blossoms; well seasoned and not at all greasy for fried food. Available in a combo with fries, or other sides for $1.00 extra. The Philly cheesesteak is lighty chewy, smothered in housemade cheese sauces on a hoagie roll, or over fries, or as part of a trio - all good. Taco combo is another delight. And I really enjoyed the lightly breaded cauliflower steaks, and nuggets. You know they are prepared with care when they're good to eat warm or cold. All sauces are made in house. Haven't tried the desserts yet.

All vegan, all the time. Take out or dine in. Small cafe space with tables that seat 4-6, folding chairs.
Conveniently located inside SHAPE Community Center in Houston's Historic Third Ward. Masks and Temperature checks required to enter the community Center. Curbside parking out front, or on nearby streets.

Pros: 100% vegan comfort food, Ample portions, moderately priced, good service

Cons: limited hours
