Organic garden café - Edit
I was so happy to come across this gorgeous garden café that also rents out mountain bikes. It's located one stop from Hellasgården that also has a café but with very limited options (one raw ball last time I visited). Therefore I was thrilled to find that they had a vegan sandwich and fika in the form of chocolate banana cake and chocolate ball. I tried the sandwich which had a cream sauce with potato, herbs, onion and seaweed caviar served on rye bread. It could have done with some more flavouring and been a bit larger in size but it was tasty.
Read moreThey have currents and gooseberries for self-picking. There is also the possibility to take a dip in the lake (if you don't opt for Hellasgården or Sandasjön). There are hens in an enclosure in the garden.
Pros: Several vegan options in otherwise deprived area, beautiful outdoor seating area, nice interior and friendly service
Cons: A bit expensive
