Read moreDer Mittag hatte uns richtig gut gefallen, beim Abendbesuch hatte alles etwas länger gedauert (Service).
Geschmacklich war alles sehr lecker. Besonders lecker waren die „Calamaris“ mit der Black Aioli und das Cashew Caprese, richtig gut! Der gebackene Kürbis mit Schalotten war etwas schwächer.

We got the vegan tapas menu with a bottle of wine - they were so tasty and satisfying! Also saved a little room for dessert - pineapple cheesecake! The variety and quality of food were great - definitely recommend!

You MUST get the tiramisu! - Edit
Great place for vegan food in downtown Madrid. I especially loved their tiramisu, which is some of the best I've ever had, with a delicious cream filling and intense coffee flavor. The Tokyo burger seemed very delicious (even though it's not what I ordered) and the potatoes that came with it were heavenly! Their breakfast menu also looks awesome, I'd love to try it next time. Delicious house wine. Friendly service. Chic ambiance.

Really nice vegan brunch with friendly staff.
Read more‘’Salmon’’ toast was 10/10. The brioche bread is so soft and tasty the salmon was great.
Ham and cheese croissant
was basic but still good.
We had to try the viral ‘Crookie ’ which is a cookie baked into a croissant. Really good but definitely think the added chocolate ganache was far too much and made it very sickly so we couldn’t finish it personally.
Chai latte was unfortunately bland and didn’t have much flavour but I can forgive it because we enjoyed the food
Pros: Bricoche bread and salmon were the highlight, Staff were friendly and helpful , Nice modern restaurant

Great place.
I went here with two non vegans and I think they were expecting great ‘replicas’ of non-vegan dishes, whereas this place doesn’t aspire to do that with all its dishes.

De momento solo he probado dos platos, pero conociéndoles desde que eran Distrito vegano y La tía Carlota, no tengo dudas sobre el resto de la carta. El local es precioso, sobre todo la zona que da a la calle, el staff está muy atento y son muy simpáticos. La focaccia es una locura lo buenísima que está, 100% recomendada.

Este restaurante es uno de mos favoritos de Madrid. Son muy amables y atentxs, la comida te la sirven enseguida y los sabores de sus platos son maravillosos, una delicia. Es un poco caro, pero es cierto que tienen calidad. Recomemdadísimos sus postres. Van cambiando la carta con nuevos platos cada x tiempo, me parece innovador.

Best vegan tapas - Edit
Of a group of five, only I am vegan, and we all loved it. We tried the croquettes, the chorizo in cava sauce, the Cabrales potatoes, the ramen, the boeuf bourguignon, the cheesecake and the tiramisu. Everything was great without exception!! And the service was also excellent. If I lived in Madrid I would go every week!! Fantastic.

Best Torrijas in Madrid - Edit
I was a little skeptical of going to the new incarnation of Distrito Vegano after loving the small-time, mom-and-pop restaurant over a year ago. The new restaurant is sleek and modern (a very different feeling from the original). We only came for the seasonal treat: Torrijas. Served with pineapple-ginger ice cream on top; They were phenomenal. I would like to come back for dinner or lunch one day to give them a real try.

We went for brunch . I thought we wouldn’t get a seat but we’re brought to the rear where there are seats also. Our choice of croissant filled brunch was just finished so the waiter suggested having our choice on toasted sour dough . It was delicious, absolutely delicious

We visited Distrito Vegano for brunch and it didn't disappoint. While they seemed short-staffed, they did their best to provide everyone with a pleasant experience, and service was pretty quick. The menu is quite varied, and has Spanish classics while also including sweet/savory crepes, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and bowls. Their croissants were absolutely amazing!

What a great-looking menu! Creative dishes. Interesting cocktail menu. Full menu from 12:30 pm. Tapas menu-for-two also available. Seating at the rear also. Server spoke English, and the online menu is available in English. Comfort food, street food, salads and tapas.

I also took away the Greenhouse Salad, which is topped with a piece of warm butternut squash and dressed with grapefruit-coconut vinaigrette. I see on the amazing dessert menu a Panettone with pistachio cream and chocolate - wish I was in town longer!

Cada vez valoro más los locales que tienen platos diferentes a nachos-burger-pizza-wrap… y Distrito Vegano, a parte de tener este tipo de platos, también (y en gran mayoría) tiene platos tradicionales con mucha copia de carne/pescado vegetal.
Elegimos unas patatas con queso vegano (vegabrales) de entrante, y partimos un estofado “boeuf bourgignon” y una galette de salmón ahumado. El estofado me alucinó! Y el salmón me gustó probarlo aunque no fue mi favorito. También probé las enchiladas y la burger smash.
Hay dos días entre semana que ofrecen cocido madrileño!
Sin duda un must en Madrid!
