Bio & Bio - Edit
Nice sized food market with loads of vegan options. I picked up some Oatly here but they unfortunately did not carry the Barista Edition. Lots of other snacks and foods to choose from here.

Well-stocked organic supermarket - Edit
Has everything you need to cook organic (wider fruit and veg range than we found elsewhere in Split), plus cosmetics, but I’m most impressed by the kilo! of tofu for around 33kn.

Amazing! Better than Zagreb branch - Edit
A good size with loads of different types of products. I have been twice so far, and the first time I got some chocolate and the second time I got a vegan štrudla! I had been hunting the internet trying to find one and I just stumbled across it here so I was really happy. Pretty okay prices in comparison to the other health stores too.

Yum - Edit
This place was my savior in Split. They had so many vegan options and they had amazing chocolate milk. The premade sandwiches were really good the first time I got them but the second time they were a little funny tasting but still good.

WONDERFUL! - Edit
A lot of vegan grab & go options! Tried the peanut cookie, the salty green pie, 2 different kinds of chocolate pie, pastry with grilled greens inside, chocolate cookie with vegan "nutella" filling, and a sandwich with grilled smoked tofu. All of them were amazing, and made with local and organic products.

Very central and great range of vegan products - Edit
This place literally saved my entire stay in Split! Very central and offers a great range of vegan products. Before, I really had problems with finding vegan products in normal supermarkets near the old town. Staff was very friendly too, would totally recommend ☺️

Croatian soy products - Edit
Unfortunatly there are not so many soy products in the normal supermarket. In this bio bio you get a small selection of soy products, some produced in Croatia (some are from other countries like Germany), a little bit vegan cheese. More vegan ice cream would be great (they had only one product when we where there). And they have two sorts of vegan strudel.

Cons: Only one vegan ice cream (in the whole freezer)

Amazing! - Edit
I did not expect all the options this place offered. So many vegan replacements for meat, cheese sauces, even gnocchi. I honestly have never seen most of what was offered which made it hard not to buy everything.

The vegan ice creams! - Edit
I was addicted to the vegan ice creams here which are made in the Netherlands and you could buy them separately. We also were able to get a chocolate tart to eat on the ship overnight. There were lots of items available in the fridge for vegans and the prices weren’t ridiculous

One-stop Shop - Edit
This was like a combination of all my favourite stores back home in one shop - I wish there were Bio&Bio stores everywhere! There were so many vegan options and they were almost always clearly marked vegan on the packaging. We visited most days. We found it particularly great for on-the-go options; their fridge section had lots of sweet & savoury options, and we always stocked up on snacks/crisps for our day trips too.

Came here after dinner to grab an ice cream after learning that it closed at 9 and it was great! I went for one of the small pots of dairy free chocolate ice cream and it was incredible, would never have known. Didn’t try anything else but it all looked fab.

Loads of local vegan takeout options including tofu wraps and about 20 different types of seitan available here. It’s a mini supermarket but perfect if you’re going camping and need some supplies or need a quick lunch.

nice little shop - Edit
I've been shopping at bio & bio all over Croatia. Thankfully this one was right downstairs from where we were staying. I basically lived here and ate the occasional meal at Marta's Veggie Fusion nearby, which I would recommend. This has everything you need, snacks, chips, chocolate, fruit and veg, pasta, cold drinks, beauty products, vitamins and grab and go sandwiches and cakes, as found in all Bio &a Bio stores. Staff are friendly and there are tonnes of vegan 'meats' and snacks to choose from. Definitely worth a visit and easier on the pocket than buying out for every meal.

Organic & Wellness Corner!! - Edit
Great find via Happy Cow after getting over the unhealthy vege options in Split. As we had an early start, we bought some muesli, almond milk, kombucha, yoghurt and {not so fresh} blueberries. Bar the berries, it was great to have a healthy and easy option to go to for light meals (sandwiches, pastries, cakes and bread were freshly made), kombucha (hard to find in these parts!), supplements, snacks and organic body products too!
