Not that impressed with the food

Yeah is a Chinese and South-east Asian style restaurant. It's located in a residential area on the edge of the city, a few minutes from the beach.

When I was renovating my kitchen I had a lot of their stuff delivered as I was getting tired of eating roti. The staff is extremely friendly, and they deliver quite fast and again the delivery guy is really nice. later I went a few times to the restaurant itself, and it's really a pleasure to be there.

But the food. It's based on the Dutch style Chinese-Indonesian restaurants (which don't have much to do with traditional food). They a have quite a few options with tofu or mock meats with vegetables and some kind of sauce.

A lof of the sauces don't really taste that good, especially the peanut sauce you get with the saté. It's just bad. And if you order a sandwich it's drowned in the sauce. The vegetables are always done right though, and the mock meats aren't that bad.

Overall I'm not very impressed with the food, but it's a nice place to order from if you need food delivered, or if you're in the neighborhood and want some inexpensive food.

Pros: Cheap, They deliver

Cons: Food is mediocre

Definitely worth the try

Great place for those who like to eat mock meats and Chinese food. I myself have never been a big fan of the latter one, but they have great seaweed soup and some spicy meals that keep me happy. The menu lists many, many options and the owner is happy to explain which ones are vegan. They also do delivery, though only in the nearby area, which is not very useful since the restaurant is located on the boundary of the city. It is a great restaurant for a dinner together with omnivores/vegan skeptics

Pros: Inexpensive, Many options

Cons: Vegan options not clearly labeled, Far away

Veg Yeah!

Most of the items on their menu are suitable for vegans, the friendly owners can quickly point out the ones that do contain eggs. Service is fast and prices are very reasonable. The food is not the most refined chinese food I ever ate, but it's fresh and good quality. If I lived nearby, I would visit regularly.

Pros: good food, reasonable price, very friendly staff/owners

Yeah, Yes

We were very happy when Yeah opened their vegetarian restaurant jut a few minutes from where we live. The location is a bit out of the way when you are a visitor to Den Haag, but if you have the time: go there !! You can easily reach the restaurant with bus 22 from the city centre or tram 12 from the Den Haag HS station. Go to the terminal station of the lines in about 20/ 30 minutes. From there it is a 2 minutes walk. In front of the restaurant you can buy (take away) snacks, at the rear are some restaurant tables. Simple but nice. The food is asian, with a few other options. Staff very polite and friendly. Prices reasonable and food tasty.

Interesting place

Near the beach, out of the center, out of touristic locations. Small (some ten tables)friendly place runned by a Taiwanese family offers good , tasty vegetarian snacks & dinners. All well known Chinese dishes in their vegetarian version and some non-oriental dishes too. Excellent teas selection served in nice glass tea-pots.Has a take away service and a home delivery service within 6km. Not open in the morning or early noon.

Pros: friendly staff, good value

Cons: some items are microwaved

Yeah!!!

If this venue was located in a city center it would probably constantly be overcrowded by veg*ans and omnivores alike - just for the good food, friendly service and fair prices. But the location is a bit off the beaten track, in quite a conservative residential area where you wouldn't expect such a place.

Most customers come to the area especially for this restaurant. And it is worth it! "Yeah" (a name which stands for "You" + "Earth/Environment" + "Animals + "Health") is offering quite a big selection of food. Nearly all dishes are vegan or can be "veganized". Most of them have soy or (other) mock meat involved, prepared very deliciously and without the use of monosodium glutamate. One of my favorites is "Vegetarian Chicken with Pineapple". It can be seen on one of the photos I uploaded.

I once was there with a group of omnivores - they all enjoyed the food and all they were missing was alcohol (sorry, no alcohol served here!).

There are no vegan desserts listed on the menu, but sometimes they have some sort of little pudding with black sesame and agar-agar available, which is vegan. Also, you can try the deep-fried lychees (offered as starter or side-dish)for a dessert, or better share a portion with a friend (they are quite heavy, but soooo good). The restaurant serves also very special sorts of tea, just ask for it.

The staff is very friendly and likes to give advice and explanations when being asked to do so.

In fact, even the location is not that bad. The place can easily be reached from the city center by bus or tram (tram 12 or bus 22, final destination "Duindorp"). And it is two minutes walk to the dunes with their beautiful hiking paths, and 8 minutes walk to a nice spot on the beach between the often crowded Scheveningen Beach and the beach of Kijkduin.

Pros: good food, good value, friendly staff

Cons: location

Very delicious, excellent chinese food! One of my worldwide favourites! They don't use flavour enhancer. Go there. Tram station just 5 minutes walking distance away.

Dinner tonight at Yeah

Seventeen (17) members of the local Dutch Vegan-Association enjoyed a spectacular buffet-style dinner at 'Yeah'this evening in The Hague. It was an excellent experience at this relaxed easy-going venue situated in an inconspicuous neighbourhood in The Hague.
The typical Chinese gluten-based dishes were tasty and enjoyable. Sufficient variation in flavour between dishes.
Service was kind and informative.
Warmly recommended.

Pros: Tasty, Varied, Service

Cons: Nutritious ?
