Simply everything was good! - Edit
Warung Ijo is placed in a small mall. Although the mall looks a bit run-down on the outside, it is very bright and inviting on the inside. There are plenty of eateries, and this is definitely the best one - if you are vegan😉We tried several dishes and, frankly, everything was good. The spiciness level of the kway teow and kampung friend rice could be improved a bit - even the highest level was not particularly spicy. The fried rice comes with a fried egg, which can be replaced with a vegan version. The mock fish was very good and did not taste weird, like mock fish often does. I loved the peanut sauce that came with the satay, and I enjoyed the satay itself as well (my daughter thought it tasted to much like tofu - I disagree). I cannot remember all the other dishes, just that everything tasted nice. We did not even have to say we did not want any (plastic) straws - none were provided. The drinks were nice, in particular the iced mocha. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well: even though they said it was mandatory to scan a QR code to place our order, they actually allowed us to order the old-fashioned way, by talking to a friendly waitress.
Read morePros: The taste is all great, The staff are very friendly and helpful, No plastic straws at all
Cons: The spiciness level can be improved, We had to pay extra for vegan milk, Ordering by QR code is the default version

Allium-Free & Vegan-Friendly Indonesian Cuisine - Edit
If I'm not wrong, this is the only allium-free vegetarian Indonesian eatery in Singapore! Owned by a friendly lady boss. The menu has a wide variety of dishes such as Ayam Penyet made using lion’s mane mushrooms, and they are also constantly adding new specials such as Green Curry Fish. Some items also feature modern plant-based substitutes including Forever by Shandi Global ‘chicken’. Apart from Tahu Telor, the dishes can mostly be veganised. (The vegan egg brand OnlyEg made a special allium-free version of their product which they supply to Warung Ijo, so the egg in most dishes can be swapped out to OnlyEg.) Spiciness levels for the dishes are customisable. Relocated to near Tai Seng MRT Exit B. No GST or service charge, and free WiFi available~

Good food and service 😊 - Edit
After they’ve moved from Beach Road, it was my first visit at their new location. Much more seating capacity and parking convenience. Ordered some food for takeaway, though they’ve turned cold, taste was still good. Service is still as friendly and welcoming! Will return next time to dine in. #Veganuary

20-11-2022: [SG Vegetarian; Vegan Options] Sedap 😋. Earlier @jiakzeh and I have a good catch up over wholesome Indonesia Veg Cuisine @sgwarungijo . Love their foodie as they are filled with intense flavour and fillings.
Read more💚 Nasi Goreng Si Itam Buah Keluak (Vegan) - so savoury. Super love this buah keluak fried rice! Must Try!
💚 Indo Meepok Goreng (Vegan) - Meepok lover will likey this bouncy meepok! Mix it with the sauces well, and enjoy this with the ingredients including @onlyeg.sg, 100% plant based protein.
💚 Omni Chilli Crab Cake (Contain Egg, Vegan Options available) - We love this so much that we finished these all by ourselves. The chilli sauce was so savoury and paired well with the Mantou and @omnifoods.apac crab cakes. Thee @omnifoods.apac crab cakes were so soft, easy to bite and delicious 100% plant protein. I will so order this anytime again when there. Highly recommended to try!
💚 Iced Lime Juice & hot tea - I had lime juice. so refreshing & sour🤩 Likey likey!
🌶 Also if you can take spicy, request for the spicy chilli sauce to go along with the Rice & Noodles too. I find the sauce spicy (shiok shiok la🔥), an awesome pairing.
🥳 Go go give these delicious foodie a try! 🥳

Great place - Edit
Review is based on their old location (visited in June 2023). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the dishes could be veganised. They use only eg for their plant based egg which was pretty good. Food was tasty and decent portion size. Glad they’ve managed to find a new venue
