Delish VegiLicious - Edit
VegiLicious is by far the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The ambiance is very organic, earth tones, mixed with a splash of Asian culture. Music playing was that of Norah Jones when I walked in.
Read moreI had non chicken, chicken fingers as an appetizer along with a rasberry, blackberry lemonade with a bit of coconut water. Both amazing.
The entrees we had were a Misou Chicken and a Teriyaki chicken. Both served with a steamed veggie medley and their respective sauces. My side was a 5 rice mix and the other side was a 9 grain whole wheat bun.

We had a wonderful dinner at VegiLicious tonight. My 15 month old daughter took a plate of steamed veggies and tofu to da house! We also had the Kobe BBQ Bowl, and a Japanese curry. Everything was delicious. So good that I ordered another entree to-go. We’re here on vacation so won’t be able to visit again this time, but I hope if you’re reading this you will go. If I’m ever down in this area again I will definitely be back at VegiLicious.
Read moreAlso wanted to mention, sometimes you have a meal at a restaurant and it’s the people that truly make it memorable. While the food was delicious, Ana really made us feel like we were family. She was so sweet and paid special attention to our daughter. I’ll remember her and this meal for a long time.

Find this little gem behind the Trader Joe's. Such a fun atmosphere & super friendly, passionate staff. It is just the 2 of them so bare with the wait time if they're busy. The menu has a ton of good stuff, including combos that get you more bang for your buck. I also highly recommend the desserts!

I took my boyfriend (who loves his meat) here for the first time and he loves it. I'm so happy that I don't have to compromise when I'm craving delicious Japanese food. I always get the onigri as an appetizer and one to go for a yummy snack later. Every dish we have ordered from there are amazing. I just wish I could have tried their hamburger steak. They no longer carry it.

$7.50 for 4 nuggets - Edit
I ordered on Postmates and was very disappointed that the $7.50 for chicken nuggets was for 4 nuggets of the store-bought brand. I could buy the whole bag in the store for that price. The tomato sauce that comes with them was also disappointing. Vegetables were fine. Miso soup was good. Overall, kind of disappointing. Perhaps i would have had a better experience in the actual restaurant.

We both got a combination meal (chick’n). My husbands was a quarter of the size of mine. This was a standard frozen soy fake chicken that you can purchase at the grocery store. The veggies were almost non-existent (frozen as well) and the rolls were store bought too. The soup was so-so. The wife was nice, but understand that politeness is part of the Japanese culture. Very disappointed being that there are so many 5 stars reviews (I’m wondering if these are fake reviews...hum). My advice: You will never be disappointed with Native Foods.

We decided to order take out! All of the food was packaged well and looked delicious! The couple that own it were very sweet! We live about 20 minutes away, so it had cooled down a bit. I would love to go back and eat in.

I’ve been here a few times and all I can say is I LOVE this place. The owners are SO nice. The woman, I forget her name, asked to take a picture with us one time when I brought in a stuffed pig and she kept saying how cute he was!

Our Family’s Favorite! - Edit
Vegilicious is a weekly treat for our family. Our favorites? The Teriyaki Burger with cheese sauce, the Kobe BBQ Bowl, Corn Chowder and dessert for us is their Heaven Sundae or Chocolate Cheesecake. For a vegan, this place is wonderful! Owners are super friendly. Huntington Beach is so lucky to have this restaurant.

We were driving down South from LAX to Oceanside when we were in the move are some nice big in food and I check the app and found veggieelicious. I cannot say enough great things about this place for anyone who is vegetarian or vegan... Or even anyone just intrested in eating a nice healthy meal. The restaurant has a Japanese flair to all the foodAnd even has Japanese curry which is a much difference type of curry than your normal Indian/ Thai based curry. The owners are both amazingly sweet and friendly and deserve everyone to give them a chance. Great food great service wonderful music and beautiful atmosphere.

We ate at VegiLicious one week ago for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We loved the comfortable atmosphere, the food quality and presentation, and especially the warm and friendly service we received by the husband and wife team. If this restaurant wasn't an hour away from us, we would eat there regularly. We highly recommend it!

Went to Huntington Beach for the day and found this place relatively close by. We got the onigiri, miso beef burger, pickles, and miso soup. The kids had a kids meal, which consisted of chick'n strips, carrots, edamame, potato wedges, and a whole wheat roll. We also tried the ice cream--the tiramisu ice cream was great.
Read moreWe have had a lot of onigiri, which are Japanese rice balls, and these were our favorites! They're made with a mix of rices and furikake. You can also order them with pickled plums. So simple and delicious. Also yummy with the carrot pickles we ordered.
The burger was flavorful and a good size. It was served with edamame.
The miso soup was good. Came with mushrooms to add more savory flavor. It was a little over priced, but we still enjoyed it.
Everything was fresh and made with care. We chose to sit outside and the owners checked on us frequently.
If we lived in town, this would be a regular stop for our family.

Wonderful Ambiance, Kind People, & Perfect Food! - Edit
The people at Vegilicious were true day-brighteners - friendly, smiling true smiles, and open - and they served remarkable food promptly. The quiet, jazzy music and dim-ish lighting make it a calm and relaxing delight for all guests, and there is even a mini lounge at the front with a super cozy sofa that looks outside through a big glass window. (Granted, we were there in the late evening, so it was not especially visible, but a lovely little spot there.) Vegilicious also has a wealth of important resources available at the front of the little gem of a restaurant and also at each table regarding vegetarianism and veganism. They are not pushy about it in the slightest but are an impeccable source of great info that shows that they really care about the world around us, about people, and about animals. And the food was very yummy (although I only had the chance to try a few things) - as I mentioned in this review about the corn soup. The curry that we tried was also an exciting surprise, as it is mild and made with soft puréed tomatoes. Not overwhelming or crazily spicy - just delicious! Their food is the kind that makes you feel healthy and revitalized and comfortable, and also, the water they have is CLEAN and tastes much better than the water at other restaurants typically does. All in all, I highly recommend this little Huntington Beach treasure. :) The couple will be more than happy to meet anyone who comes in and their yummy dishes will leave you satisfied and merry. :)

Government seems to be a little hard on them so go go go there. They really deserve to deliver what they do.
The philosophy of the owners is vegan in its core. He does it out of love for the planet, animals and humans.

The menu had what I consider a perfect selection. Not o big and not too limited. Monica decided on the teriyaki chicken combo including Creamy Corn chowder and I got the Kobe BBQ bowl.
The bowl was the perfect proportion and the thinly shaved analogue held the flavors very well. By far an exceptionally flavored meal!
I think the issues for this place are the strange location of the shopping center it is a part of (in the middle of a residential area) and the pricing is maybe $2-$3 higher than it should be. The owners are extremely warm people that deserve a shot so if you're vegan and in the area give them a try and get the word out!
