good food and coffee with coconut milk!! - Edit
It really dosen't look very special from outside, but the food is very tasty. They also have an amazing lao coffee with coconut milk (coconut milk is not on the menu, but just ask for it). Staff is very friendly.

The best in Vang Vieng!! - Edit
So much choice for veggies and vegans on this menu and having eaten here twice on my trip, I had amazing food both times. It is a small, family run business so it's very relaxed and slow paced but if you don't like that then you won't like Laos full stop!! Friendly service, big portions and very reasonable prices. Try the tofu satee and tofu sandwich!

Choices - Edit
Quite a few vegan choices here. Simple family run restaurant. We had mushroom burger and tofu steak with pepper sauce. Both tasty, but the pepper sauce was too peppery, so I couldn't finish it. We did mention this to the owner as feedback, not complaint. There are beers on the menu, but you have to buy them next door and bring them in. Reasonable prices.

Delicious falafel - Edit
We ate at this place twice while visiting Vang Vieng, and in both occasions we had falafel (which consisted of falafel, hummus, salad, French fries and pita) both because we love Middle Eastern food and because we were a bit tired of eating fried noodles, fried rice and the Southern Asian food in general. Therefore, I can’t really speak for any other dish, but the falafels we had were very delicious, carefully prepared and probably with fresh ingredients. The dishes were in general a bit pricier than other vegetarian dishes in town, but for us it was worth it.

Best food in Laos - Edit
We went to the restaurant several times. All the food was amazing. The staff is very friendly. The family running the restaurant is so kind. The family father speaks English very well. They somehow live in the restaurant. They even had vegan mayonnaise. We liked the vegan spicy larb with sticky rice a lot. But also the burgers, soup, rice with satay sauce and the baguettes were nice. They also serve very good fresh coffee! Totally recommend this place! The food takes a while to come out because there is only one person cooking. But the time waiting is totally worth it!

Very nice vegan food - Edit
Nice family driven restaurant, so it can take some time before food is served. But it is worth waiting. I've been eating tofu in many different ways and some shakes. Enjoy!

Huge sandwiches - Edit
We ate the eggplant and the tofu sandwich here. Took a while to prepare but it is en enormous sandwich. Like a baguette full of fresh veggies and deep fried tofu or eggplant. Above expectations since the place looks typically Asian (not too clean etc).

Got here twice and loved the food both the times. I got the veggie burger once and the Thai green curry with sticky rice the other time. The burger was a little oily but super tasty! The green curry was amazing. Don't miss this place if you are a vegan or vegetarian

Really lovely food 😋 - Edit
I’ve been here a few times now, as I was very impressed after coming for dinner the first time. I had veg fried rice with curry sauce and tofu which was really tasty. You get a big portion and the prices are very reasonable (I think it was around 25k). Also came for breakfast and had sausage and beans which was fab. Doesn’t look like the nicest of places but don’t let the decor put you off, the food is brilliant and I would definitely recommend 😊

Go for the food - Edit
We had a great brunch, the tofu sandwich is super with the crunchy tofu. I just ordered it without mayonaise. My boyfriend had the sausage and baked beans, he wants to go again! The ambience isn't there, it looks a little dirty and the woman had to wake up for us.. but hey we are in asia and what would you do living in this climate with no customers. She could keep it cleaner though..

👍🏻 - Edit
Had the red and yellow curries which were both delicious. The sauce for the tofu satay was super good. Food takes a while to come out but it came out steaming hot so they were likely making it from scratch in the back. Just don't come here in a hurry or looking for a high class super clean type restaurant and you'll be fine.

Tasty curry and tofu satay - Edit
Went here twice. My favorite of the two vegan places in Vang Vieng. Food does take a bit to come out, but worth the wait to me. We were the only ones there both times, and food took around 20 minutes to come out, and then the curries needed time to cool down. Both the red and yellow curries were great. Didn’t try the green. Had the tofu satay with rice, which was also delicious. No real vegetables with the tofu satay, so it’s a nice thing to split with someone along with another main.

Good spot despite other reviews - Edit
I didn’t have high hopes for this place based on the previous reviews, but I actually found the food really good and the owners pretty welcoming! I had the pumpkin kebab and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My boyfriend also is very picky and really liked the fried tofu meal. Overall it was a good experience!

Worst service! - Edit
When we arrived the lady did not smile or talk. The table was dirty (hair and crumbs etc), menu dirty,...
Read moreI showed her my ‘V cards app’ in Lao to let her read (it’s an app which shows “I’m vegan, I cannot eat....” in all languages). She didn’t want to read and just said ‘ok ok’... when we ordered the spring rolls I asked again: Can you read this please and she answered very annoyed; YES OK. Without reading the text!! We just left, we’ll find another restaurant where the waiter DOES smile.
Cons: Worst service, No smile, No english

Best dinner in SEA - Edit
Super delicious!!! Amazingly friendly 🤗 And super healthy VEGAN food, in the middle of Laos. Pinch me please🤪🤩 Food took a while to be served but we could tell it was made from scratch and not some frozen recycled ingredients. I got the pumpkin soup and sticky rice dish #1 on the list. Best dinner I've had in SEA 👍👍👍

No have - Edit
We went to veggie tables on our first day in Vang Vieng. I was super excited to see the word vegan actually written on the board outside. My experience however was very underwhelming to say the least. I have come to an understanding that customer service in laos is basically non existent. No greeting, or welcome, it’s lucky if they actually register your existence tbh. After being absolutely ecstatic about the prospect of eating veggie sausages and baked beans, I tried to order this and had the reply ‘no have’ This was devastating, as after nearly 2 months in Asia, some baked beans would have rocked my world. But I tried again to order a tofu baguette.. ‘no have’ a mushroom baguette? ‘No have bread.’ So that’s half the menu out the window. Eventually I ordered soya balls and mash. My friend ordered a fruit shake, a coffee and muesli yoghurt and fruit. The shake never came, the coffee was stone cold and our waitress nipped over to the shop to get some yoghurt. My mash potato was most certainly not mashed, lightly pressed maybe. The soya balls were ok, the ratio of muesli to yoghurt was about 90:10 oh and wifi.. no have. Very disappointing overall.

Its okay - nothing special - Edit
I ate there 2 times vegan. Some food is added with cheese. The food taste like 3,5 star. The stuff need long to prepare and they dont look like work with much passion. The Interior looks old and basic. Just happy to have a vegetarian/vegan Restaurant in vsng vieng, thats why I went there. So food can eat but nothing special.

Easy choice - Edit
I got the rice curry with tofu which came out to 45,000. It wasn’t anything special but still good. My friend really enjoyed her pumpkin sandwich. The portion size was filling and there was a huge variety of food. It did take awhile to get our food and my friend received her smoothie after we finished eating. Still it’s an easy choice if you’re veg and they do not use any fish sauce in their dishes.
