Buffet for 20 RMB - Edit
Fantastic buffet for 20 RMB on the ground floor. On the first floor, you'll find a hot pot buffet for a little more. I had the buffet on the ground floor for 20 RMB and although I arrived 30 minutes before closing there was plenty of food.
Read moreI highly recommend the sweets (cakes, cookies, etc.) and the sweet soup - absolutely incredible! They also have a shop at which you can buy some of the cookies you'll find at the buffet. I also spotted vegan soymilk powder which is usually a little tricky to find.
The atmosphere is lovely btw! If you finish all your food you can ask for a 5 RMB voucher. That's a promotion that they've got going to reduce food waste. What a lovely initiative! I highly recommend going, I love this place :)
Pros: buffet for 20 RMB, If you finish your food you get a 5 RMB voucher , heaps of desserts

Very nice hotpot - Edit
I was here tonight and although there was no one else the hotpots were ready to go and the table was set with all kinds of veggies and pasta and even some soy meat alternatives. Staff was very friendly and tried to speak with me in their best English.
Read morePros: Lots to choose from to put in the hotpot., Friendly staff. , Little vegan shop dowstairs.

Things have to improve - Edit
2018-10-14 It is difficult to run a vegan restaurant in a carnivore world - and you should know when to stop! The first impression was „ok, a little bit run down“ but arriving at 4pm it was not serving time yet and I could look around go up to the second floor - and here a rat was having an afternoon snack at the spread out hot pot ingredients. A rat rarely comes alone - and it had a lot of hiding spaces between all the “health food products” which were also in disarray.. it is time to clean up or to close - sorry to say this - and the buffet selection was also not very enticing 😕I saw many much better places in China

Vegan oasis, high-quality buffet - Edit
We tried many buffets in 3 months traveling across China, but Vegan Heart stands out with dishes that you can really taste the love. It was simply delicious, much variety, and it was almost entirely vegetables (instead of mock meat), which they made very tasty. Also steamed buns, hot soy milk, and cookies.
Read morePros: Beyond tasty, vegan cookies! , Nice staff, size-able store, Cool discount, busy/popular at mealtimes
Cons: One of the takeaway cookies had a plastic taste

Great hotpot! Nice atmosphere. - Edit
I came here after a long day of sightseeing. As a previous member said, this restaurant is just 3-4 minutes walk from Yiguanmiao station (Line 3 metro). First floor is a vegetarian buffet, and on the second floor there is a vegan hotpot diner.
Read moreStaff were friendly and welcoming, I was able to get by with my very limited Chinese ability. They were able to explain all the different elements of the hotpot.
Hotpot itself was brilliant, spicy sichaun peppers and array of tasty veg and mock meats. The meal in total came to ¥53 which was very reasonable considering in was all you can eat.
Highly recommended, pictures still to come.
Pros: Tasty food, good selection.

simple small buffet - Edit
Small buffet selection but food seems good quality and was tasty. Also the cheapest buffet at 18 per person with a 5 yuan refund if you finish all your food! Small selection of packaged foods to buy at the back of the shop

Unique Experience - Edit
This little shop and restaurant was fairly easy to find. The owner and staff do not speak English (or very limited English). The buffet wasn't open when we arrived however there was an all you can eat individual hotpot restaurant on the second floor. The selection of soup bases, vegetables, fake meats, and sauces was excellent (as well as several desserts).
Read moreHowever the most interesting part of the meal was that a group of 7 or 8 monks came and ate their dinner while chanting the entire time. It made for some interesting ambience.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite relaxed and quiet, unlike most other places in China where the dining experience is loud and energetic.
The shop has some vegan soap and candles which is difficult for vegans to obtain in China. It has some fake meat and multiple non-dairy milk selections.
I'd recommend for the vegan hot pot as hot pot is a specialty of the Sichuan area but vegan versions are next to impossible to find unless you speak the language.

We had the lunch buffet here. Friendly staff, good food, and a great selection of vegan products for sale in the back (first floor). Great location. Half a block from the Yoguanmiao metro station, on line 3.
