For Pan Mee lovers ~ must try the Mee Hoon Kueh

I really liked the mee hoon kueh (which is like pan mee)! The mee hoon kueh is a Klang dish. You seldom find it in other parts of the Klang Valley. It's very similar to the pan mee, but noodle texture is different.

However, the chicken/char siew rice was so-so. Haven't tried other dishes to comment much. But liked that they were accommodating in allowing us to re-use our glasses when we ordered extra Chinese tea.

Great breakfast eatery

They offer a variety of hawker food;
A) individual meals like
Soup noodle and laksa

B) Finger food like;
Vege rolls, curry puff and yam cake

Average place and its like few hawkers bundled into 1 shop. Air conditioning available

Pros: Affordable price , Lots of choice in menu

Cons: 5/10 toilet , Crowded at peak times, Hygiene needs improvement

Old/very good vegetarian restaurant w/vegan option

For many, Soo Ser Yuan is even today the best vegetarian restaurant in Port Klang. It certainly is one of the oldest restaurants, if not the oldest.

The humble outside in a side street with many shop lots does nothing to indicate the bustling business inside. When you want to have breakfast here on a weekend, better to call and reserve a table - or be informed, at which time such a venture can be successful.

Inside the air-conditioned, but rather simply decorated restaurant, be ready for simple yet delicious and filling fare. The classic staples of Malaysian Chinese cuisine - from Nasi Lemak to Bak Kut The are available in vegetarian (and most of the time also vegan) options at inexpensive prices. The menu is in English, and the staff know which items are vegan.

Definitely worth a visit, but be sure to check, the address shown in the map on HC is totally wrong, that one is off by dozens of miles.

Pros: Tasty food, Many vegan options, Malaysian favourites available vegan

Cons: Can be quite crowded
