Traditional style English sandwich place and I can't fault it for anything other than being a bit basic. Reasonable price!

Don't Get the Falafel! - Edit
Do NOT get the falafel box from here when you can get 3 falafels and 2 lovely salads and hummus just around the corner from Eat a Pitta for £2.90. I paid £3.95 for this box and the falafels tasted like reheated pieces of spongey cardboard. The salad was mostly dry lettuce and also a tiny bit of plain tomato, cucumber and grated carrot and cabbage, with no option for any additional dressing. Really not impressed at all, especially as the salads in the fridge section look really nice so I was expecting at least one of those to be in there. Aside from this, staff here are friendly and the cakes and sandwiches are tasty, but overpriced. I have seriously been put off coming here again and now understand why there's always a queue at the other places but rarely one here.

Nice Homemade Burgers - Edit
If i didn't look at the signboard, i wouldn't even guess this little open-concept cafe serves veg food. I had their hummus burger, and they added seeds in it which gave it a nice bite to it.

Great market cafe with vegan options - Edit
Stopped here for coffee and a couple of vegan slices - the apple crumble one was particularly nice. Basic setup within the market but obviously popular, with friendly staff and other food sellers with vegan options all around. Recommended for a light bite.

Has been serving food for a long time in Bristol (since the 70s I think). Great choice and is mostly vegan and/or vegetarian. Love the flapjacks.....

It's a shame they sell tuna rolls otherwise I would give them 5*. Huge vegan selection and their pasties are delicious. Really lovely people working there too. Highly recommend :)
