Good spot for lunch

We enjoyed our lunch here, a vegan burger and pad Thai.

Way to expensive for medicore food.

I had the Quinoa Medaillon and a Coke. I payed 25€ per person for food, that is at best mediocre. The portion size is rather small. Don't go here, there are better options in Florence than this restaurant.

Good food

The place offers also not vegan dishes. I had the vegan burger with veggies and vegan mayo and it was very good. So I would recommend it.

Pros: Vegan options , Gluten free options , Nice location

Cons: Not entirely vegan

Spacious, Quick, Tasty

Lots of space, comfy but a bit cold. Tried the two vegan dishes – quick and tasty. Restroom is a challenge, up two floors in the hallway.

Good healthy option

Enjoyed the quinoa-broccoli dish.

The chocolate cake is quite light for a chocolate, which I like.

They have a big patio.

Pretty good

I had the medallions with a side salad. It was cooked well. My mom had the pad Thai and she really liked it. Good experience

Excellent

Ristorante gluten free con diverse opzioni vegane perfino nei dolci. Il menù cambia ogni 2 settimane. Tutto buonissimo. Personale accogliente e servizio molto veloce. Prezzi giusti per il centro di Firenze 👍

Good service!

Very good service. I asked for vegan options and someone came with a menu. He pointed out de dishes that were vegan and he told me he could make anything vegan.
The best bruchetta's!
I had the pad thai and it was very nice. My husband had the pasta pesto. That dish was a bit flat in taste.

Buon cibo, bella location

Mi è piaciuto davvero tanto sin dall’ingresso, location davvero curata e personale accogliente. Diverse opzioni vegan dall’ antipasto al dolce, e ottimo anche il pane come se ne trovano pochi in giro. Forse un po’ caro ma ci tornerei!

Pros: Diverse opzioni Veg, Personale efficiente , Bella location

Amazing!! Very recommended

The food was absolutely delicious!! The menu isn't big and changes seasonally but the vegan and vegetarian dishes were literally the best we've had in Italy!! The pad Thai was incredible, the gnocchi was yummy, and the burger was really well done. We were even surprised by the gluten free bread which was delicious. Very friendly staff, beautiful location, lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.

Food okay, bad service

Wouldn't recommend this place as the service was quite bad (had to wait long and was unfriendly, although it wasn't that busy). Had only two vegan options (burger and bowl without the cheese). The food was okay, but not worth the visit.

Pros: Lovely place

Cons: Only two vegan options, Bad service, Food was only okay

Not the best

No marked vegan options on menu, had to ask to remove cheese from the panzanella, which they forgot to do and then had to make again. Tasty once it came though.
Not the most friendly service
Lovely location in courtyard

Great gelato!

Staff were helpful showing us which gelato flavours were vegan. We had the dark chocolate (100% cocoa) and it was divine. Would like to return for a full meal

Pros: Vegan gelato , Friendly staff

Great gluten free food

I went to Quinoa with my omnivorous family and everyone left happy and full. It wasn’t cheap - £130 for the four of us without alcohol, but the food was excellent and the waiters super knowledgeable and very professional (I mention this as it’s not always the case in Italy). I had the asparagus starter and the vegan cheeseburger which was pretty good. it’s not a veggie restaurant, but if you’re looking for gluten free they have enough options and very high standard food.

Pros: Professional English speaking staff, Delicious food, Good for groups including omnivores

Cons: On the pricy side , Not veggie - and only a few vegan options

salty and pride gains over comfort

Nice choice but not a lot of meatless choice. If you ask to change, the pride of the personal, typically Italian, inhibits changes: it is not possible not liking their genial compositions. My plate was far too salty, almost not possible to finish. No green on the black plate with fingerprints of the personal on it. The smoothie was small and 3 quarters ice cubes. Why this Italian pride over the comfort of the client? I thought this was already a issue of the past but Italian personal still make you feel inferior, stupid and worth to be a business victim. A pity. Probably a good place to eat meat, but this should be easy anywhere else in Florence.

Pros: calm place (polluted by a radio or tv)

Cons: friendly but feeling uncomfortable as a client.

Great food in a wonderful setting

Quinoa is a gf restaurant that has few vegan options but the staff are willing to be flexible and very helpful. We found it after being let down by another restaurant and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, I had the vegan cheeseburger and my husband had the millet patties even though he’d normally go for the meat option (which I think are veggie not vegan) we both really enjoyed our meal and would have been happy to come back.

Pros: The setting is nice, Vegan options are clearly labelled, Staff are willing to be flexible

Cons: No local Italian options , Few vegan options on menu

a top vegan spot in florence

Great spot for vegan food when you want something a little more formal than a cafe.
Perfect atmosphere for a group dinner or a couples dinner. Knowledgable staff who understand vegetarian versus vegan which can be tricky in Italy.

Pros: beautiful tofu , egg free pasta

Beautiful Gluten-Free Courtyard Restaurant

This restaurant is completely gluten-free, and offers a good range of dishes including pizza, pasta, burgers and wraps. There were plenty of vegetarian dishes although the menu does not indicate which are vegan or vegetarian, (eg: Pad Thai etc), so I went for the obvious Vegan Quinoa Burger. This was delicious, and my son enjoyed his Greek salad and the non-veg dishes were enjoyed by my husband and other son, as was the basket of GF bread with the meal.
The setting was very pretty, an ancient building with a bright and airy courtyard, interesting plants and plenty of shade. Even the trip to the WC was enjoyable for the unusual decor and hanging picture gallery that you pass through on the way.
Well worth the visit, and hope we will go again during our 4 day stay here.

Pros: Food - freshness and variety of dishes, Building and courtyard decor, Totally Gluten-Free so worry-free

Cons: Vegan / vegetarian menu options are not obvious

Great choices for vegans and vegetarians!

Quinoa is an all gluten-free restaurant, tucked away, not far from the Duomo. Lovely inside and outside seating areas and interesting exhibition currently on upstairs. Very helpful and enthusiastic staff. My husband and I shared a quinoa 'pie' to start, which was small but delicious, very tasty! I then had the tofu and vegetables with jasmine rice and tamarind sauce, this was also delicious and very filling. I managed to squeeze in an almond and orange cake with green tea to finish. I would definitely return! There are a couple of meat and fish dishes on the menu too, just to be aware. Definitely recommend as not too expensive and really varied choices.

Pros: Good choices for veggies, helpful, friendly staff, Lovely atmosphere/surroundings

Cons: meat and fish is served here

Loved it!

It was a bit hard to find, but the place was super nice. Everything is gluten-free. The food was delicious and service was good. We sat inside, but there was a really nice outside area which would be great during the day. Definitely going to go again.

Pros: atmosphere, gluten-free

great atmosphere!

Mainly Gluten Free. Limited veg options. But the quinoa salad I had was fab.

The outer section is really lively and among plants. Really pretty!

Would come back!
