Absolutely amazing - Edit
Ok so this restaurant is not fully vegan but the fact that they have options and good ones is amazing. And not just salad options but like a beyond burger, vegan sloppy joe, vegan chicken tacos, etc. I was docked in the marina right in front so as I passed by I saw the Margarita bar sign and was shocked to see a Mexican inspired restaurant in Croatia! Being from southern California, I was stoked.
Read moreSo I took a friend with me to dinner and we had such a great time! We shared the margarita jug, which is totally the deal. Ben was our server and he was incredible. Friendly staff and atmosphere with equally impressive food. I had the vegan chicken tacos and they were so freaking delicious!! For desert they had a vegan chocolate molten fudge cake! Like OMG, the best thing I have ever had. I couldn't finish it because it was so rich but ughhhmazing. My friend ordered 2 rounds of his fish tacos! Honestly if you are in Dubrovnik, by all means have a little nosh in the old town but get out towards the marina and stop at Peppers!
The margarita is made to perfection and their food is out of this world.
Great experience and when I am back in Dubrovnik, I will for sure be coming here again!

The walk to Peppers from our apartment was a scenic treat, adorned with pretty views and charming feline companions along the way. Opting for the courtyard due to the warm evening, the attentive staff made our experience even more enjoyable.
For starters, I went for the Steamed Edamame, and let me tell you, the portion was so generous that I had to pack some in a doggy bag. The main course was a tough decision, but I eventually settled for the "Beyond Meat Com." Burger, complete with house fries, vegan cheddar, and fresh charred corn – a flavor explosion that left me beyond satisfied.
As the evening unfolded and the drinks flowed, engaging conversation with the friendly couple next to us revealed a shared struggle with vegan options during their Croatian holiday. We bonded over the discovery of Happy Cow, and the fellow vegan raved about the Vegan Pulled Beef Sloppy Joe Burger, sealing Peppers' reputation as a haven for plant-based and meat-loving palates alike.
In conclusion, Peppers is a gem that I'll undoubtedly revisit on my next Croatian adventure. After all, a country so stunning deserves a dining experience equally exquisite!

Enjoyable meal - Edit
I had the beyond burger, which was served with chips and a side salad. The meal was really nice. Only downpoint was the host had quite a rude demeanor and was very unfriendly. The tables were also super close together. It made for a bit of an awkward evening.

Was really impressed to see multiple vegan options here that were all decent, could have easily came here a few times! I had the vegan ‘chicken’ tacos which were brill, and also the mango sorbet which was so nice with fruit!

I wish I’d included a fork to add a bit of context but the pic is a side plate so these are really tiny (and - of only 2 options in the menu now the sloppy Joes has been removed which is what we went there for😒
Read more2 of these, a side of fries, 2 soft drink and a bottle of water came to 350 Khuna (which seems really expensive). That said - it was nice.

Came here looking for the vegan beef Sloppy Joe's but unfortunately they are no longer on the menu. Had the vegan tacos which were very tasty but veey small portions, could eat them in 4 mouthfuls. Also had the sweet potato fries with vegan aoli dip which were OK

Found this place to be fairly unremarkable, the food was reasonable but no better than a run of the mill pub lunch. Most of the vegan options were sold out, ended up having the beyond burger which was nice. Service was pretty slow too, not normally one to take issue with this but given how quiet it was, it was really noticeable.

The staff were friendly. The food was great. There is a dipping starter that comes with a cheese dip but the chef made us a vegan alternative and it was delicious. They have their own vegan aioli which was great. We got sloppy Joe's and no chicken tacos but there were other options too.

The venue and atmosphere is lovely. You sit outside but because it’s surrounded with a wall you feel like your indoors.
We also ordered vegan chicken tacos which were tasty the taco shell itself was slightly chewy but the filling was very tasty.
The service was extremely slow and we waited 40 mins for our drinks to come before our starter. We wouldn’t mind waiting for the food if we had been served some drinks in this time. My partner had to go a find out where our drinks were as it was difficult to find someone to ask. They were extremely busy and only seemed to have 3 waiting staff.
The food was tasty and worth the wait, but the beyond burger was very expensive at £16, this could be because they don’t have easy access to them in Croatia??
Due to the slowness of our service and some discrepancies with the bill they did offer us some extra free drinks as a sorry.

Lovely busy restaurant by the harbour, nice decor and plenty of outside seating which actually looks like inside seating! Lots of options and enough for vegans and none vegans, nothing groundbreaking but definitely understand the concept of vegan and items clearly labelled. Wide cocktail selection even some ‘virgin’ for the kids
