Dass wir in Kulmbach so gut vegan essen können - damit hätten wir nicht gerechnet. Wir haben zwei Gerichte von der Wochenkarte gewählt, und das war echt der Hammer. Gute Portionsgröße, absolut lecker und etwas Besonderes. Hingehen!

Multiple vegan options, which seemed promising. Our burger and vegan "spare ribs" looked great on the plate, but the taste was underwhelming. For example, I had a baked potato as a side that came out cold and with an almost entirely flavorless sauce. However, the person I came with had a bean burger that was pretty good.

We stumbled across this restaurant by coincidence and had to try the food since we didn't expect such a place in a small town like Kulmbach! I am happy we did, the food was good and the staff really nice! We had the Falafelburger and the Moussaka. The Moussaka was a bit too oily for my taste, but I would still recommend😄

Nettes Personal, tolles Ambiente fühlt man sich wohl😄auch in Zeiten der Abholung alles Frisch zubereitet. Preis-Leistung vollkommen gerechtfertigt.

Ein kleinere Stern abgezogen, da bestimmte Änderungen, wie bsp. auf einen Burger Bun kein Rosmarin (Allergie) nicht möglich, oder beim schärferen Gericht eher mild bestellen hat nicht immer funktioniert.
Pros: Gute Vegane Optionen, Preis-Leistung Top, Frische Produkte!

Best vegan food in Kulmbach - Edit
Cozy restaurant in the heart of Kulmbach offering traditional Bavarian meals including meat but also lots of vegetarian and vegan dishes such as burgers, vegan roast meat, vegan BBQ spare ribs and even desserts. The staff is always super friendly and I really appreciate taking the risk of offering vegan food in a small town like Kulmbach. I'm so thankful that there is finally I place I can go to when I'm back in my hometown without worrying if there will be any vegan options. There is a standard menu with some vegan options and a weekly menu containing even more vegan dishes. The food I tried has always been super delicious. My absolute favourites are the vegan Texas Burger with a black bean patty, guacamole, salsa and nachos and the vegan BBQ spareribs made out of soy steaks. Prices are also really reasonable

In the town of Kulmbach you wouldn't expect a place where they serve (listed) vegan meals.
Read moreThey have pretty original options; we ordered a zuccini soup which was amazing and I want to eat again as I type, vegan tacos, a burger made out of kidney beans and corn, very very tasty :) the guacomole was average, but maybe I'm biased because my mom makes the best one!
One thing that I had never seen before was vegan spare ribs! I was a bit hesitant to try them but I did and they are very very good, especially because of the home made BBQ sauce :P I couldn't finish it because the portions are very big. It's not super cheap but they sure make up for it with the portion size.
All in all I had a burger, soup, one taco and the spareribs but they had not problem with packing the rest for takeaway. I wish I had more room to try their vegan muffins and icecream but it was impossible for me to eat anymore on that day.
Pros: original meal, zucchini soup, large portions
Cons: guacamole, serves meat, large portions (so you can't try everything)
