Cheap but bland

Decided to check this place out, ordered a veg curry however was not impressed with the flavour. Portion size and price was good but if you're looking for authentic Indian food I'd suggest trying somewhere else.

Pros: Big portions, Served quickly

Cons: Bit bland, Service could be better

Not the best Indian food

Went here looking to try the local Indian food, and left disappointed. The quality of the food and taste was very bland and no spices at all. Do not recommend if you want authentic South Asian food. Owner wasn't that friendly at all either.

Pros: Outside seating

Cons: Food was bland

Good Indian restaurant

I ordered chickpeas and plain rice. Chickpea is my favorite dish so I can be an expert on that. Whenever I go to Indian restaurant that is the first thing that I order. Since now I might tried more than 30 places (: anyway, their chickpeas was good. Portions are enough and price was okay. I guess they follow "tourist spicy" policy, because anything were spicy at all. If you are around give them a chance.

Mehhhh. Go somewhere else.

The dahl was extremely soupy and watered down. The aloo gobi was drenched In Dahl. To be honest the worst Indian experience ever. Save your money and eat street food or somewhere else.

Great Indian in Vientiane

Staff knew exactly what vegan meant and which dishes could be made vegan.
The pea and Cauliflower curry was delicious! They also make some south Indian dishes including dosa which is great to see if your a fan of doas.
Cost 95kip for 2 curries, 2 breads, rice, masala dosa and 2 samosas, so not cheap but quality matches price.

Pros: Delicious , Makes Dosa

Understanding veganism

The waiter was really aware of vegan food, it was very comfortable, we just asked for vegan and didn't need to specify anything else.

The food is cheap for generous portions.
Tofu replaces paneer in any dishes it is used traditionnaly!

However it was not really the taste of indian food... may be after visiting India I am a little bit rough but I was a little bit disappointed.

Pros: Cheap, Know about vegan food, No paneer used

A good Indian restaurant with a large vegetarian menu

I took some food to take away at Nazim. I had the samosas and the pakoras that were cheap and very good. The restaurant has room and an extensive vegetarian menu with vegan options (but you have to find them by yourself or ask since they are not labeled on the menu). It's typical and good Indian food.

Pros: large vegetarian menu, good food, vegan dishes, inexpensive

Cons: not 100% vegan, vegan options not labeled

Delicious and cheap

We ate two times at Nazim during our stay in Vientiane and both times the food was great! I had the Palak Paneer (Tofu) and the other time the Malai Kofta, both times with Naan, both times under 5$.

Pros: Lots of options, Good prices

good food

Food was lovely, try the vegetable korma ! Only downfall was staff not friendly didn’t receive any smiles the entire time. Also the vegetable rice was super spicy even though it doesn’t say on the menu so make sure you check !

Pros: good portion , tasty food

Cons: unfriendly staff

Microwaved food and dishonest/rude staff

Title says it all. Try another place if you want Indian food. Jamil Zahid is a good one.

Basic Indian Food

Fairly large but basic selection of Veg. choices. The food is good. The most reasonably priced Indian food or foreign food in central Vient. A masala dosa that comes with dal is about 20,000k unfortunately they dont give you the proper coconut chutney. Two samosas are 8,000k again they dont have the proper condiment; they give you ketchup instead of a mango chutney (which is bizarre and doesnt compliment the food). All the appetizers Ive tried are good but basic.

Pros: Basic tasty indian, Reasonably priced for Viet., Quite a few veg options

Cons: Indivdual items only=no thalis, Incorrect condiments
