Lots of locally grown organic produce

This is a well-stocked co-op. The produce isle has a lot of certified organics and locally grown fruits and vegetables. The wellness isle has a nice assortment of vegan personal health & body care products.

There is a full-service deli with a juice bar offering 5 fresh cold-pressed juices, and 7 veganizable smoothies, both of which have a “Build Your Own” option. I love this because you can treat yourself to a drink and not shop hungry. Coffee, tea and espresso are also served, and there is local Kombucha on tap. There is indoor seating and outdoor bench seating in a community pollinator garden.

The bulk nuts/seeds isle has a very nice selection, including 8 raw items: raw sunflower seeds, raw pecans, raw walnuts, raw pistachios, raw hazelnuts, raw Brazil nuts, raw macadamia nuts, and raw cashews (I know, technically raw cashews are not raw…).

Love shopping here for groceries 💼

They have a lot of healthy foods, and herbal medicine to choose from. Love getting loose leaf teas. They have a small area with precooked meals, too. Several vegan options and seasonal ingredients. Will be back. 🌱

Great choice for good food

A good market, priced up but I'm ok with it because the quality is good, along with the ethical model. Not as many vegan options as I would have expected but still plenty. Really appreciative of the local focus and the bulk section!

Member finds lacking

Although this store usually has more variety in vegan cheese options. Neither store even carries the same products. The meat substitutes sections is larger than the 7th Ave store, however neither is very good.

They have the smallest tofu, and tempeh section in town. Only one brand of seitan available.

The only thing they do well is the bulk section. However, again neither store carries the same products, which is frustrating when you are shopping for a weekly menu and find yourself having to go across town for ingredients. Which they may have if you are lucky. Otherwise you find yourself heading to Whole Foods, wondering why you didn't go there in the first place.

Pros: Vegan Products, Clean, Good Staff

Cons: Limited availablity, Not consistent between stores

Member satisfaction!

We are members of MM and have been for eons. It's a great co-op and just about all of our needs are met there. The staff is super friendly and always helpful! It's a place you can bring your kids shopping with you because they learn, they pay attention to their food because of the labeling (particularly on produce,) and they are always excited about the food and products we get at the market :-)

Pros: on a bus line, wide variety

Cons: not always able to order what I'd like
