One of the best things in Hong Kong - Edit
When I first came to Hong Kong 2.5 years ago, I entered "Hong Kong vegan" in a search engine and the first thing that popped up was this meetup group. I went to my first meetup the very next day and had a blast since then!

- You get to go to different restaurants each week. Always something new, always something to discover.
- No need to worry about whether things are vegan or not. The organizers take great care that they are. Always!
- If you go to a restaurant alone, you can sample maybe 3 dishes. In this group you usually sit with about 10 people at a big table and share food the Chinese way: Everything in the middle and everyone takes some. So the amount of dishes you see at one meetup is easily more than 10. Sometimes up to 20.
- So this is a great way to find out about new restaurants. There is of course some repetition, but generally you get around quite a bit. Through this group I discovered most if not all of my now favorite restaurants in HK!
- The people you sit around those big tables with: Great! A nice mix of expats and locals. I made several good friends through this meetup.
- Last but not least: The organizers are amazing. Shara started the whole thing and now Carrie and Stevie are taking care of even more great meetups. They are extremely well prepared and there are never any problems. They actually take great care to explore options first and not blindly book a random restaurant. Big thanks to you guys!
So can I recommend this to you? Definitely. Don't miss this. Even if you are in town just for a couple of days! Everyone is welcome. There are always several new faces in the group at each meetup. So go and join us now!

This is a great group to meet interesting people and explore/discover/re-discover veg restaurants in HK. Events are organized almost every week. Wether you are vegetarian or not, I highly recommend to try it.
