run of the mill and limited options. the tom kha soup was the biggest disappointment. pretty sure the mushrooms in it were going

Nicest meal in Thailand - Edit
I had the vegetarian noodle soup which is probably also vegan as it had no meat, egg or dairy items included. The broth was tasty and not spicy. Plenty of vegetables such as bean sprouts and spring onions. The tofu was cooked perfectly. My favourite part about the restaurant is the fact you can ask for anything vegetarian and they will make it.

We ordered one dish to share. thank god. the cashew nut and vege was terrible. hard sweet potato.bland tofu.hard parts of broccoli and overall bland. not worth it. go else where.

lots of choices for veggie eaters and they understand the difference with vegan. however went on two occasions ordering the same soup, the first time it came with noodles, tofu and loads of veg and the second time it was just noodles, bit disappointing, maybe different because it was a different lady working. around 50-80b for meals which in the area is quite cheap.

As a devout vegan, I prefer to support vegetarian restaurants. And there are at least half a dozen purely vego eateries around Banglamphu. HOWEVER...having tried all of the vegetarian (and most veg-friendly) diners in Banglamphu, my personal verdict is that Lotash Seed makes the best vegan 'tom yam' and 'tom kha' this side of the Chao Phraya River. It's a pity they're not completely veg, but the owner/operator/chef understands the concepts of veg*n and is simply an *excellent* cook. While she uses Thai herbs and spices in a delicious and tantalising way, however, if you want Thai-style spicy you'll have to ask for 'pet pet' - the restaurant is, after all, in Thanon Rambuttri.
