A very upsetting experience 😞 - Edit
I want to start by saying that the food was very nice but the overall experience was not. The service wasn’t great and we ended up putting our order in writing as the waiter was struggling to remember our order (fair enough - there were six of us) and didn’t seem to want to write it down either. This doesn’t matter but is good context for what came next: my vegan husband and I were served meat kibbeh instead of the vegetarian version. The moment I had half of it in my mouth I knew something was wrong and asked my dad to confirm it was meat - and it was. Because service had been a bit erratic, my husband had long finished his (also meat as the filling looked identical). He’s not as suspicious as I am and simply trusted he’d been served what he ordered (he also hadn’t noticed a meat version was on the menu). The server brought me another one but wasn’t really apologetic about it.

Great Lebanese/Syrian restaurant - Edit
Our waitress spoke great English and the menu was easily decipherable. Clearly labeled options for vegans and vegetarians. Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had!

Yummy middle eastern food. We got two breads and two falafel portions and then one of each of the other vegan meze options and it was a decent meal for two at the cost of about 35 chf.
