The Great Venice Sandwitch - Edit
we went because of all the other reviews … THEY WERE RIGHT! The vegan sandwich is like heaven on a board.
Read moreWe went just before the lunch rush (11:30) and had some very well priced Aperol Spritz on the side seating area. Very cute atmosphere and the sandwiches were so good we got another to go when we were exploring the city later.
Staff were also flexible to change some of the toppings. Would highly recommend making this a stop while you’re in the city
Pros: Sandwich, Staff, Aperol

Not a fan - Edit
I don't know if we missed something, but we didn't see any option to build our own sandwiches, nor a vegan one. We are vegetarians that often choose to eat vegan meals, and as the only option of a sandwich suitable for us we saw in the board said "vegetarian", we ordered two of those. The pesto was SO bitter.... I guess it was made of rocket, or another and similar bitter type of leaf. It was overpowering, and it was hard to taste anything else, including the cheese (I see no point on eating cheese if I can't taste it).
Read moreIf there was a way to customize sandwiches, or a vegan one, we totally missed it. The place is small, we were tired, and the staff seemed too busy to offer any help.
The only positive thing about the sandwiches we ate was the texture, as the bread was so crispy outside, but soft and nice inside.

Pros: Texture

Sandwich in San Polo - Edit
Isn't it nice when you find a place that has a good sandwich? I've always thought that artichoke is an overrated vegetable, but now it turned around.
Read morePerfect size for lunch. Nice slices of seitan, vegan mayonnaise, spring onion and artichokes.
Very small place. I guess you can sit outside when the weather is nice, but today the weather was too bad. Affordable and nice guy behind the counter.
Pros: Good vegan option, Nice bartender
Cons: Limited vegan options

One sandwich, but a good one - Edit
They have one vegan option, but it‘s truly amazing. The one downside is the very prominent display of meat, so I would suggest eating outside

Amazing vegan meat - left wanting more - Edit
Was recommended by a friend to try the vegan seitan panini. There was a 45 minute waiting period which they warned me about. It was around 1pm so peak time. It was very tasty. Excellent bread. I picked some of the seitan out of the sandwich and ate it by itself. The meat was incredible, some of the best I have ever tried however the amazing flavours got lost in the rest of the sandwich. I wish the sandwich had more seitan in it but I understand that it is an expensive product. I really hope they can have more vegan products on their menu. They have already proven themselves that they can create delicious and unique vegan food. Also I saw a previous review saying they saw meat hanging from the ceiling, I did not see any meat hanging fortunately.

Nice vegan option! - Edit
Had the same sandwich as everyone else on this app - and can confirm it's nice! The bread in particular is fantastic, and it's far enough away from central attractions

Incredible seitan sandwich - Edit
Still thinking about this incredible sandwich we had in Venice, it was so nice we ate it twice. We found this place when we started to get hungry after a few drinks and then ended up walking across Venice to eat it again. Crispy focaccia, with the most unbelievable thinly sliced seitan, coleslaw, artichoke and peppers. Really surprised at how good this was considering the rest of the menu is pretty meat heavy. They also do good beer and cocktails to wash down your panino.

Upsetting to see so much animal meat on display - Edit
We ventured here due to the other reviews of seitan Panini’s, but when we arrived we instantly took a step back due to the amount of obvious animal meats hanging on show, I would not recommend this cafe due to this, it was not pleasant to see or think about even if they did offer vegan options which we did no see on the menu signs.

Fantastic seitan panini - Edit
We went here looking for a sandwich for my partner and found they do a fully vegan seitan panini with vegan coleslaw and artichoke. It was so good I went there again the next day and took one away for later. Price was also good at €8 for the panini
