Complete disappointment - Edit
Only 2 options for vegans. One was a salad which was based mostly on the white core of the lettuce head. Tasteless. The second was a vegan burger which was disappointing. Burger bun was what you find pre-packaged but was cold so dry and crumbly. I guess they tried to compensate the dryness with ketchup cuz it was overwhelming. Only a small slice of tomato and leaf of lettuce. The patty was not bad but was you can buy at the local supermarket. Nothing fresh or hand made. Also the paty was a lot smaller than the bun so most if the time it was like eating ketchup bread. I was happy to find something on the menu apart from pizza and pasta, but really this was a low😭.

Tried the vegan burger only which was among the daily dishes. A reasonable price of 7 EUR for a good enough standart veggie burger with a tasty sauce so it was not dry but the main issue for me was the bread. Such "burger buns" sold in bags in the supermarket are neither real bread nor enough to get you full. Still, it was baked in the oven and did not fall apart so I guess it was OK. All in all a reasonable meal out of a non-vegan place in the center of many non-vegan restauraunts.

This is a wine bar that serves light foods. We noticed the vegan menu sign, so we tried it. It's very good, both the vegan food options and the friendly service. If in Lecce, give it a try.

Great option in Lecce - Edit
I had lunch here today, attracted by the "Vegan Menu" sign. Vegan options are clearly marked and there are other items that can easily be veganized. Good service. Great prices. My tofu crostini was terrific.

I decided to have dinner there on my first night in Lecce when I read "vegan menu" written on a blackboard. The vegan menu includes salads and some kinds of puccia (which is a typical bread from Salento that is usally filled with non-vegan ingredients), filled with vegetables and vegan cold cuts. You can also find vegan food not included in the vegan menu, like frisa (a hard wheat doughnout that you can find everywhere in Puglia) with tomatoes or some other vegetables. The place has outdoor seats and it is located just a few steps away from Santa Croce church. The food was nice, but quite pricey for what you get (both puccia and frisa are street food that can be found almost everywhere and easily veganized), however I understand that you pay for the special location.
