They have a seperate vegan menu here which is amazing. Everything on it sounded so good I wanted to order everything. Everything I did have was delicious. Quite expensive, definitely a special treat.

Small and unique restaurant with amazing vegan options. The dishes are all very creative with a lot of asian inspired flavours and I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. Quite expensive if not having the lunch deal or anything but the quality is outstanding so I personally think it's worth every penny.

The lunch combo of rice with curry sauce, 2 skewers and 1 side dish was fantastic. I had the aubergine and the tofu skewers and the braised daikon. A separate vegan menu offers sufficient choice. Also a delicious vegan dessert. Felt full for the rest of the day.

Yummiest dessert ever - Edit
Finally tried Kushi-Ya last night and it was wonderful. They had a separate fully vegan menu that we were given on request and the options on it were amazing. There were so many flavours that were incredible, but the dessert was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten! Will definitely be coming back.

I finally visited Kushi-ya for lunch with a friend recently and it exceeded expectations. Simple, stylish decor, intimate and comfortable atmosphere, with the option to sit at the bar adding authenticity. As a lover of Japanese food it can be tricky to find decent vegan options, so it was a nice surprise to be given a dedicated vegan menu. Everything I had (tofu tsukune, asparagus w/miso dressing, pickles, rice w/katsu sauce) was delicious and clearly not just an afterthought, and I'm excited to return so I can try their other options (and check out their sake)! Service was great too - friendly and efficient😄

Amazing food with unique menu. It's my second visit here and was blown away again. One of the best restaurants I have been. They have lots of vegan options to choose from. Just ask for vegan menu when u come in.

I first visited Kushi-ya on their first vegan night. The food was amazing and the service fantastic. Have visited once again since and apart from one dish I wasn’t keen on the rest was delicious. Great value for money too!
