I love Korzenie. It’s a place where you can eat often or with families because of the very reasonable prices and be sure that it’s a healthy vegan dinner. They often make vegan versions of polish dishes which is fantastic. There is also a good choice of yummy pizza. If you’re looking for something posh and fancy with lots of options go somewhere else. However if you’re looking for a family-friendly, healthy, tasty food (with big portions) go there, and try one of their main dishes.

Really nice interior, friendly stuff, delitious food. Proces are also ok. We have tried pizza with tempeh, rice nooddlds with coco milk and tempeh and soup. Next time we will be on Łódź, we will deffinatelly step in again

Very friendly and nice place. Expect the vegan spare ribbs (tasteless) the food was very good. I would recommend! Burger and salad were great :)

Wish I could go to Lodz more often to go to Korzenie - Edit
Did not expect it to be as good as it was. I had a very creative burger and my mum (who is on traditional diet) had a seiton pie (?) with potatoes and cabbage and enjoyed it more than any meat dishes she had in a past. Would definitely go back when I’m around Lodz.

This place looks really nice, but the food wasn't spectacular. My pasta tasted a bit bland and the carrot cake was dry. Wouldn't recommend to any non-vegan. I'll probably come back to taste other dishes (pizza or a burger) - the place itself is so nice and cosy that I really want to give it another chance.

I had the seitan, and my two friends had burgers. The seitan was a large plate of two seitan patties, with a bunch of fried potatoes, with a large serving of something I've never had before, but which had sautéed onions with a nice sauce, and which I liked a lot. The burgers are huge, and we're also well liked.

Came in for an evening dinner. Very nice atmosphere and staff. Soup as appetiser was OK, but the seitan main course was unfortunately a big disappointment. Dry and tasteless is all I can say.

Amazing vegan restaurant/cafe. Tons of options including gluten free as well. The portions were generous, the food super fresh and tasty. Staff were very helpful and they spoke English, and didn't mind translating the menu for us non-Polish speakers. Super reasonable price too (£5 per dish). Definitely will be back again! We need more like this in London!

Byliśmy w Łodzi ze znajomymi i dotarliśmy do "Korzeni", nie spodziewając się luksusów. A tu niespodzianka! Dania były przepyszne i w dodatku w super cenie. Nie mogliśmy odmówić sobie deseru, choć byliśmy pełni (i dobrze zrobiliśmy!). Tak nam smakowało, że wróciliśmy na obiad kolejnego dnia. Polecam z czystym sercem. Obowiązkowy przystanek w Łodzi.

I tried their dishes few times. Once a burger, another time cakes, seitans, I don't even remember more which ones.
Read moreEverytime the portion was too small for this price. I ate and then immediately didn't feel that I ate something, I was really, really hungry afterward.
The burger was burned - was really black and dry.
Another time in my salad I couldn't find a sauce, so I asked the waitress/bartender about it. Aftew few minutes she gave me the same dish, still coulnd't find a sauce, but appeared a sprouts and cucumber, which I already ate before. Funny.
Their ideas for the dishes are good, even amazing, but the whole process of creating them is missing something. I can't find them tasty. In the end I paid quite a lot for the feeling of amnesia - can't remember what I ate and did I seriously I ate?!
Only the cakes are good, but not the perfect.
