It's ok

I tried the cold soba and a ramen that is vegan and they were both just ok to be honest. The drinks were good, I don't know about their other options. But I wouldn't say it's a must to come here. The service wasn't very friendly either, the restaurant itself is pretty though.

High quality Japanese food

I came just for a small snack and got vegan gyoza and seaweed salad. The quality of both was great!

I will definitely come again. I like that this restaurant offers many Japanese dishes like vegan bento boxes, seaweed salad, gyoza, ramen, soba noodles, sushi. They have their own unique dishes to offer. Also besides the dishes labeled vegan, some of the dishes can be made vegan on request like the gyoza and the onigiri. Read the menu descriptions to see which dishes can be made vegan.

It’s not a restaurant that offers amalgamation of the same no-distinct “Asian” dishes like so many restaurants in Germany offer. It has a variety of specific Japanese dishes!

Delicious but pricey

They have to vegan bento boxes on the menu with vegan soup. Both are tasty, portions are big enough. Nice to sit.

Cons: Expensive

Authentic Japanese Food

Kikuya (English: happy forever) is an authentic Japanese eatery (and takeaway) that offers some vegan dishes so that vegans can also be kikuya. The decor inside is bright and pleasant, the food was delicious, only the bento (agedashi tofu) was a bit unimaginative,

The staff was friendly, attentive and the dishes were served without long waiting times. A bit pricy, but on the usual level in this street in the heart of Stuttgart.

Very nice Japanese background music, I'll be back.
