Please note that the toilet of this location is not wheelchair accessible. Open Mon-Thu 10:00-20:00, Fri 10:00-21:00, Sat 09:00-21:00, Sun 09:00-20:00.

Burger Pommes machen einen gut satt und waren sehr lecker. Lediglich die Burger waren schon etwas kalt und der Salatkopf vom Beilagensalat könnte etwas feiner geschnitten sein.

Everything I tried there (which was a crispy no chicken, a burger del gatto, a tieramizu and a don’t call it snickers) tasted great and the atmosphere was awesome. To see all the cats around just adds up to everything.
Definitely no unusual smell, really nice staff and very good food. So, no reason to not go there once in a while!

Allerdings ist es auch nicht günstig - aber Qualität hat ihren Preis.
Dafür kann man zusätzlich die Katzen beobachten und streicheln.

Katzentempel is the first place with a purely plant-based menu in Minden, so it's worth a try.
Read moreThe menu is diverse. Main dishes, snacks, cold & hot drinks are available. The prices are a bit steep. No idea if they are cross-subsidizing the cats (there's also some kind of sponsorship possible), but it will certainly put a few people off.
We only had ice cream and cake. The cake (Tieramizu) was too mighty/luscious for my taste, but the ice cream very tasty, although a bit more liquid than in an ice cream parlor.
The staff met us friendly and courteous.
We sat in the back, where the air conditioning unfortunately blew so hard that another table even moved away.
I'm not a big cat fan and I'm not warming up to the "cat café" concept either. What some consider a selling point is rather unattractive to me. I would prefer a plain vegan spot with slightly lower prices. Sorry :(

Nice to have a place as a go to for some vegan meals but not exceptional. I suppose one has to expect this but it smells a bit funny with the cats…chose to eat outside which solved that problem. Nice staff though and still a good stop overall.

obwohl es katzentempel ja schon lang gibt, war dies tatsächlich mein erster besuch. hier gibt es 6 gerettete katzen, die - wenn sie lust haben - herumflitzen und spielen oder rumliegen. außerdem kann man eine patenschaft kaufen (schon ab 5€/monat). dadurch unterstützt man die katzen und bekommt ein paar kleine geschenke und andere vorteile. lohnt sich vor allem, wenn man in der nähe wohnt.
Read moredadurch, dass man die katzen manchmal streicheln kann, wenn sie zu einem kommen, erreicht man viele menschen, die gerne mal hier essen, obwohl sie nicht vegan sind. das ist meiner meinung nach eine super methode, um menschen zu zeigen, dass veganes essen mehr ist als nur salat:)
die katzen scheinen spaß zu haben und die meisten menschen sind sehr rücksichtsvoll und sehr fasziniert von den tierischen bewohnern. vermehrt habe ich mitbekommen, wie sich komplett fremde nett über die kleinen unterhalten haben.
ich hatte eine rainbow bowl, die war übrigens sehr lecker. keine ahnung, wie sie das hinbekommen, aber die guerkamole (aus gurke) war super! allerdings fand ich es ein bisschen teuer (bowl 15,50€), aber da man ja damit ein veganes unternehmen und die rettung von tieren unterstützt, ist es okay.

Minden is so far not really "vegan heaven" so I was very happy to learn a fully vegan café/restaurant has opened!
Read moreI was at the Katzentempel in Nürnberg before, and I liked the one in Minden a lot better. The one on Minden has a very nice interior and invites for staying long.
The food was good, not the best I ever had but very decent. There is a loooot of choice!
The staff was very friendly and the cats cute.

Ein Restaurant, in dem es ausschließlich vegane Speisen gibt 🫶🏽 Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht. Es empfiehlt es sich daher, einen Tisch zu reservieren.
Read moreEs gibt im Eingangsbereich eine Schleuse, damit die Katzen nicht raus laufen. Man wird in Empfang genommen und zum Tisch gebracht. Bedient wird man direkt am Tisch und dann sehr schnell bedient. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr freundlich!
Das Essen sieht toll aus und schmeckt außergewöhnlich gut!!
Das Restaurant ist modern und natürlich Katzenfreundlich eingerichtet. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker! 🌱
Meistens kann man mit einer Katze schmusen! Aber selbst wenn die Tiere mal keine Lust haben lohnt sich ein Besuch!
