No vegan options anymore - Edit
Loved the falafel plate here, was sad to see they had new owners and does not make this anymore. Was looking forward to having it again when visiting Tromsø!

New owners - Edit
The place used to have middle eastern food. This changed to Asian owners. They don't know how to cater vegans/vegetarians. They can make the meal vegetarian, by removing all animal products. Which leaves you with a soup og 200 nok that keeps you stuffed for an hour. I don't mind paying money for good food but if I have to leave the place hungry that annoys me.

Early dinner - Edit
Went for an early dinner with a large group, some of which had special requirements and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food had a fresh, home-cooked vibe and was extremely delicious. The humous was smooth and everything was bursting with flavour!

Hooray, Vegan Food!! - Edit
In a town with not many vegan options, Kafe Globus was a great find. They have one page of the menu for veg items. Several are completely vegan. A couple are vegetarian, but they can leave out the feta to make it vegan. Menu includes: Mediterranean Platter, Falafel Salad, Pumpkin Soup, Lentil Soup, homemade bread... and they have a scrumptious vegan chocolate cake. Portions were generous, staff were friendly and vegan aware, cafe was relaxed and warm on a frigid day!

Arrived on a cold snowy day - wonderful tea options and a good selection of vegan food. I had the Mediterranean plate, came with beets, tabouli, hummus and delicious homemade hot bread.

Nice food, cozy bar - Edit
This cozy, beautiful bar has several vegan and vegetarian options. All the soupes are vegan, but i preferred a falafel salad (it comes with feta but they can also do it without). It was a simple green salad with onions and yellow and red pepper, chutney and really good falafels. I really enjoyed it. They also have a vegan cake and it's super good. I warmly recommend this cafe. The only negative thing is that they close at 7 p.m. so it's a good option for lunch or for a early dinner.

Very helpful staff! Had a very tasty and well packed falafel wrap and the lentil soup was amazing. The place has a nice vibe too, and not too expensive 😁.

Nice falafel sandwich - Edit
I had a falafel sandwich, the only vegan option on the menu. It was nice, if a bit dry, and included a couscous coriander salad. The waitress was very nice. Would be great if they had more vegan options.
