Simple happiness

Just placed the lunch order and then saw reviews saying the food isn’t nice. Friendly small family business. The wanton mee tasted nice, to my liking especially with their green-cut chili. It’s not as flavorful as typical famous wanton mee outside.. more of those simple and delicious home cook/ coffeeshop style. Recommend the wanton mee if you like simple coffeeshop style at affordable price. My bf ordered black pepper steak, I think that portion is more of side dish… (for me) Mushroom soup is thick and delicious.. there’s also my fav broccoli crumps inside the mushroom. Have not tried their burger.. no comment.

Pros: Affordable, Simple

Not sure any relationship to the 1st floor, I hope this review not impacted the 1st floor outlet.

Cons: Not cheap, The food i need to give less than 1 star else , This system not allow me to rate lower than 2star

Kind owners

Very sweet owners, but place smelled a little bit of babies and didn't look super clean. Food was OK, but not the best I ever had. Rated a little lower since overall rating seems too high. Definitely worth a go, if you are not too sensitive about mentioned things. Also they have mini shop with a lot of cool vegetarian snacks

Good selection of different tastes

You can find typical Chinese, western and Malay dishes. The miso soup was very good. Also they offer spinach or pumpkin noodles. I had the latter (sauteed with bbq sauce) and they were amazing! However the burgers are not very good. I had the mushroom one and it was just a deep fried mushroom. So nothing special and too greasy for me! But they have vegan mayo which I found pretty cool! I recommend this place but stick with the local dishes!

Nice food

Ordered many dishes recommended by the waitress. All food are above expectation. The food is lacto vegetarian - no egg but may have cheese or milk, suitable for most Buddhist vegetarian with no onion and no garlic.

It is on the second floor just above merryland. There is a small door beside merryland to second floor.

Awesome cupcakes

We got there as the place was closing but the owners were still gracious enough to let us in to buy some cupcakes and muffins to go. 3 flavors of cupcakes--banana choc mint, lemon something, carrot something. 2 types of muffins: banana walnut and ginger spice. All absolutely excellent, each better than the previous no matter what order you try them in. They were very gracious and took us down to the Merryland for dinner (as they were closing) and made sure we were well suited and had a word with Merryland owner on our behalf. Hope to return to try their food some day. Rating is for the desert only as we did not have dinner there.

Pros: great cupcakes all vegan, great vegan muffins
