On Salman Street (go south from the Cistern) you will find many falafel restaurants, and this is the only one that does not sell meat. Offers sandwich with fresh salad and falafel. Vegans be aware of mayonnaise sauce - specify. Reported closed Dec 2019.

nice guy

Very nice guy who makes some of the best falafel we had in Iran.

The store is a little imbiss style store where you choose by yourself whats going into the sandwich. There is cucumber, tomato, salad and potato chips.

Pros: yummy falafel, cheap, meet young iranian people

One of the best falafels in Iran

I love falafels. Especially Palestinian version with lots of parsley. In Iran falafel restaurants are mostly owned by Iraqis and unfortunately they don't use parsley.

Falafel in Hoshhalat restaurant is good, one of the best falafels that I had in Iran. For less than a dollar you will get a bread with 4 balls and salad. Souse contains mayonnaise. If you are vegan be aware.

Owner does not speak English.

Check out opening hrs. Restaurant is close in afternoon for few hrs.

Pros: good falafel, close to center (check happy cow's map)

Cons: no toilet
