Spicy Thali for 100 Baht

Not easy to find. The entrance is next to another Indian restaurant. You have to walk through a glass door up to the 1st floor. Make sure to say you don't want cheese, yoghurt or ghee. I got white rice and chapati with 3 different vegetables: lentils, chickpeas and potatoes, also onions (I didn't eat the onions). They offer refill at the table for free but charge you 150 Bath extra if you have leftovers. It was very good.

Cheap and yummy!

Such an interesting spot, small and cozy. Friendly staff and 90B veg thali set with free refills. Can’t go wrong here, cheap and tasty.

Pros: Cheap!, Yum!

Cons: Naan bread isn’t the best

Pros: lecker und all you can eat

Simple, tasty, and all you can eat

This was my second visit, and I enjoyed it just as much this time. Food is tasty, filling, not oily, and so inexpensive! Wish it was closer to my place or I would come here regularly.

good value and good taste. no frills

Was craving something close to my mums cooking (indian). Went for Guptaji. On your way there you will be harassed by other indian restaurants to get your business. The restaurant is up some stairs and pretty easy to find on google maps. The set up is simple. Pay 100bht for a thali. Eat as much as you want and get refills of food and roti as needed. The staff were attentive and quick to bring hot rotis. The taste was pretty legit and catered for indian tastebuds in my opinion. I had aloo gobi, Dahl, curry, and aloo mattar. It came with a pickle and a diced salad which were really yum. This place hit the spot. Food was good but not out of he world. It hits your indian fix at such a cheap price. I like the idea of if you waste food then you pay extra.

Newly Remodled Resturant, Aumbiance Now Matches the Amazing Food

Since I moved to Bangkok I have loved eating at Guptaij Kitchen when shopping in the Baiyoke area. Delicious Indian vegetarian food. Great servic, $100 Bhat for as much as you can eat, and now since they have newly remodeled the place looks great. And the Atmosphere matches the amazing food.

The Thali plates are so delicious

Unlimited food on their Thali plates and they will let you know all of their vegan dishes if you just let them know you are vegan!

The food is delicious and it was my primary go-to Indian restaurant (and primary restaurant where I ate) when I was in Bangkok.

The owners are great too and fun to talk with!

Pros: Great tasty food, Cheap price, All you can eat

Cons: Location a little hard to find. Use Google Maps!

The new interior is amazing. And it makes this a real nice sit down restaurant!
Also there is new bright signage which makes it easier for everyone to find.
They have definitely designed a nice restaurant.
See the photos above with the brick interior and nice wood benches. (Click on the photos)

Amazing Vegan experience

Amazing food!
A real indian restaurant. The food is like the one you have in the North of India. The place isn't really fancy but you just go to have a good meal for 100 bath. They serve you once and come back to ask you if you want more. You can eat as much as you want. 4 differents dishes with rice and chapati. If you are Vegan, just mention it and they will put something else like veggies.
You can go there like us, every night :) ! The menu change everyday !!

Pros: Food excellent , Friendly staff

Cons: Area very basic, Air-co

Good Indian food for reasonable price

We had quite a while to find this place as the marker on happycow was wrong placed (i will send propper coordinates) but the trouble was well worth it. The restaurant is hidden in a small street whit many other Indian restaurants but it's the only pure veg restaurant here. The ambience can be a bit creepy if your not used to small places like that. Thought a narrow staircase you go up to the first floor (one above ground floor) and the restaurant is basically in a extention of the staircase - a room whit out a window. Instead there is a TV and AC.
The welcome by the staff was very warm and friendly and we quickly got a teasty thali. There where about 5 different dishes + rice and capatti and they where good and we got a refill and then we where fully satisfied. In the fair price of 100 bat was also a bottle of water included.
The only negative thing to mention about the food is that my wife had a bit a stomach upset after our visit but that may just come from the one spicy souce and that this was our first breakfast in Bangkok since years.
All in all I very liked to eat here.

Pros: Indian pure vegetarian food, Very friendly staff, AC

Cons: Very basic restaurant
