Ginga Vegetarian

Two weeks before i had Sambal fried rice. The little oil spicy rice with crunchy vegetables was a delight to my taste buds . After coming to Singapore i was addicted to the white fried rice which we used to get in Boon lay place . But only sometimes it will be available. In Ginga i saw the available options and googled the names . Omg Yang Zhou fried rice was what i was looking for .. so i ordered this and less oily with more veggies vinegar chilli and sambal it too tasted nice .. Next week too i gonna buy there . Here i come Ginga for the Tomyum fried rice . Value for money too Ginga.

Pros: Sambal, Fried rice , sambal fried rice

Cons: no

Affordable and nice

Nice vegetarian place. I like their Laksa available only on fridays and sundays. It is just $3 for a big bowl. a lot for a single person to finish.
They have other options too.

My favorite stall in Taman Jurong

Nice stall. Always long queue.

Pros: Delicious , Inexpensive

Cons: Long queue , Quite a warm hawker center

Get their fried noodles!

Can customize which ingredients to add on. Affordable prices, great taste.

This is definitely a popular stall, most customers know that they have to queue round a table so that the queue line does not block the neighboring stalls.

Horrible dishes!

Portions are so pathetically small, and owner is so stingy as picky! Who tells you try they Nasi lemak then tell u they not have rice and replace with fried rice as ask u to chose your own ingredients? Might as well order Cai fan!!? Then in the end charge you way more expensive than actual Nasi lemak . The kway chap is also the same. Tell you have kway chup then tell u the kway finish, replace with noodles. Then you can count the ingredients in the dish, she put in then take out then puT in and take out again. Gosh!!!

Pros: Looks like many dishes but horrible.

Cons: Expensive, Extremely small portions, Not delicious

Hi Colin,

I have personally encountered the same issue as you but they will usually ask if it is okay to change the ingredients here and there. On several occasions, I decline and they are fine with it. Based on your photographs of the food portions, I find the portions rather acceptable... wonder how much did they charge you..

I will provide this feedback to them so they can improve because I have been patronizing them for a long time and I like their food.
