Serves meat, vegan options available. Bakery cafe near La Sagrada Familia, a tourist attraction. Around 1/2 of the menu is vegetarian, marked with a green leaf icon, of which a few can be made vegan. The set vegan dishes on the menu are a bowl of fresh fruit and tomatoes and oil served on bread. Has soy milk for coffee, freshly squeezed juices, and brewed tea. Staff speaks Catalan, Spanish, and English and the menu is in all 3 languages. Reported some bread contain egg, so ask. Confirmed closed, Jul 2020.

Barely any vegan options - Edit
The only vegan options are a bowl of fruit and flatbread with spinach, avocado and tomato, which they said was vegan but it was white bread so I'm not sure. Don't go here if you're vegan.

Not Vegan Friendly - Edit
I asked if the triple toastie sandwich could be made vegan. The waitress said yes. It came with cheese and it wasn't vegan cheese. Poor service. Waitress doesn't listen to orders and was in her own world. Think she was nearing the end of her shift.

Pros: cappuccino with soya was good

Vegan friendly - Edit
Try the guacemole, tomato and spinach sandwich. (order without cheese if vegan like me). Tastes like pizza! Best soy cappuccino I tried in a while. They have mostly vegetarian stuff but ate happy to help out a vegan. Super close to touristy attraction so noisy road but probably also only thing around.

A Relief - Edit
Before visiting La Sagrada Familia with my mum, we tried to plan out where we would be eating lunch, as I try to avoid last minute restaurant decisions. Sadly, we couldn't find anything that was definitively veg-friendly, so we timidly decided to wing it.
Read moreFortunately, we found the Gaudí Bakery, which is full of easily veganized meals, clear vegetarian labels (in the form of cute little green leaves on the menu), very friendly staff, and generally delicious food. The portions were a little small, but I expected as much from a quaint bakery. If you intend to dine there, I suggest ordering an appetizer AND a meal, but doing so will by no means break the bank, as the prices are very fair for a place located so close to a tourist attraction.
Pros: Good food, Friendly people, Fair prices
Cons: Small portions
