We adore the surrealist movement so the many Frida Kahlo items inside create a charming ambience.

El menjar és casolà i variat, amb un menú que va canviant segons el dia. Es pot triar part del menú o fer-lo complet segons la gana que es tingui. Tot estava boníssim i l'atenció ha estat excel·lent. Es nota que hi ha molt d'amor en aquest restaurant dedicat a Frida Kahlo, a l'art i al veganisme. Les trufes de xocolata ens han robat el cor!

A unique experience - Edit
Now the only vegan restaurant in Perpignan, and definitely the one with the most Frida Kahlo memorabilia. Only small, but always a good meal with excellent service.

Frida was the first spot I found when I visited Perpignan. First step on my trip to France was before in Montpelier, where I found vegan restaurant in the city center, but Frida surprised me maybe even a little bit more by its genius loci.

Absolutely delicious food, has dishes of different cuisines including French and Spanish. Food was well seasoned and just tickled my senses. Chef is clearly well travelled and incorporates what he has learnt from different places in his food. Make sure to call in advance to book a place.

Read moreL'espai i la netedat eren correctes. En comparació amb d'altres vegans (més luxosos) de ciutats més grans pot semblar una mica més deixat, però no pas més que la resta de restaurants no vegans que hi ha a la vora.
La zona és més cara en comparació amb l'oferta de més avall (Girona...). Tanmateix, en comparació amb els altres restaurants de la mateixa zona, la relació qualitat/preu és molt bona.

Read moreMy experience was not great, and I don’t understand why everybody else loved it. The menu is from 2022, a piece of paper in a plastic folder not really clean, the chef and his partner are welcoming, telling us about the dishes.
I took an apple juice, but the glass I was served was not really clean, still some dried orange pulp on it. For stater, I had tarama but it was inedible, like if it was out is date, a taste of rotten food or acidic wine with a piece of plastic into it. After I gently complained about it, they kindly replaced the dish by another one of my choice. I chose the pakoras and they were mushy. The main was better, a pasta dish. Overall I didn’t like the experience, I thought they were not really professional and I got sick for a day after that meal.
I would recommend this place, sorry.

Friendly vegan restaurant - Edit
We loved Frida's. They spoke English and took the time to explain all of their dishes. Some were on the menu and some were specials. We had the fondue which was a selection of raw vegetables, fruit and bread with a wine heavy cashew fondue sauce. Our other dish was rice, noodles and vegetables in soy sauce. This was our favourite. We were in quite early so not all the desserts were available so we had a banana and vanilla lassi. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

Opening times have changed to lunchtimes only closing at 2pm now. Don’t miss it - book to guarantee a table.
Can’t wait until next year when we are in Perpignan again.

Great little find using Happy Cow app on our mini break in the south of France! All Vegan restaurants are a rare find. The plat du jour menu had lots of choice and the food was cooked to order and delicious. Service was friendly and informative. Well priced dining for a city!

You have to visit Frida's if you are in (the area of) Perpignan. The food is amazing. At dinner you can choose different tapas and the chef is happy to explain each option. They also have larger main dishes and deserts.

Onwijs lekker gegeten en nieuwe dingen geproefd. Een van de lekkerste vegan restaurants waar ik ben geweest! Ik vond de Pakoras en de Rilletes De Mer het allerlekkerste. Ook de Fideuà was heerlijk!

Petit restaurant très sympa avec une décoration 100% Frida Kahlo et un fond musical jazzy/groovy. La carte est simple avec plusieurs tapas et quelques plats : difficile de s’y retrouver et de se faire une idée de ce qu’on va manger, mais le chef attentionné explique tout ! La cuisine est plutôt d’inspiration indienne/orientale et relevée. C’est une jolie découverte dans le centre historique de Perpignan !
