BEST Burger EVER - Edit
Wow, if you only have one meal in Hamburg, it got to be the avocado burger at Franzi. It is without the doubt the best burger I have ever had - vegan or meat!!! Really juicy and great tasting and just beautiful. Have found my new regular place to go to in Hamburg.

My boyfriend and I stopped off here for burgers after a long train journey and the Avocado burger just hit the spot! The interior of the restaurant was also quite homey, it had a French cafe vibe. I didn't get a chance to try a cake yet but I'll definitely be coming back

"sometimes we're open and sometimes we're not" - Edit
Been here more than once. But the last time was definitely the last time. Staff was very unfriendly. We did get different information about opening hours during our visits. The last answer was: "sometimes we're open and sometimes we're not". The fries weer nice. It's a pity every item on the menu, besides fries, contains gluten.

We came here for burgers and were not disappointed. It was far from the best burger I've had, but it was quite alright, especially the bread and the dressing. My only little complaint was that they called the cabbage salad that comes with the burger for "cole slaw". In my opinion, a cole slaw has to contain (vegan) mayo! ;)

Super leckere Burger, verschieden gefüllte Teigtaschen und Falafel sowie Kuchen und Waffeln (nach belgischer Art - himmlisch) für Vegetarier & Veganer. Auch die selbst gemachten Limonaden probieren! Lokal selber ist einfach eingerichtet aber gemütlich. Wenn's warm ist könnt ihr auch draußen sitzen, ist allerdings nah an der viel befahrenen Straße. Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich. Lohnt sich!

A little bit crowded and small, but still cosy and good decor. We ate here twice, and both times something we order was out of stock. They table was dirty and they didn't even wipe it of before serving. We did not get our food at the same time, wich I find annoying.

We initially came here for a couple of soy coffees, but returned later for food as it looked so good. And it was! We both had burgers - mine was the avocado burger, my partner had the classic burger - and we shared a plate of sesame sweet potatoes (so good, we have tried to replicate on our return home). Really delicious burgers, the patties themselves were very tasty, not just mush, and all the toppings were well thought out. Nice ambience (not quite a cafe, but definitely casual), friendly staff, and English menus!

Loved the atmosphere, the food and staff. A simple menu but with enough tasy vegan dishes on the menu and the cake afterwards was very tasty as well.

My girlfriend took me to this restaurant because of the burgers. We ordered the avocado and BBQ burgers with potato and sweet potato fries. Both burgers and the sweet potato fries tasted really declicious! In contrast, the potato fries with poppy seeds were a bit tasteless due to the missing oregano. Nevertheless, it was okay to eat them along the rest. We payed around 13€ per burger plus fries. Although the staff was a bit slow at the beginning, they were friendly, and the food arrived very quickly.

Das einzige was ich ein wenig schade fand, war, dass man die vegetarisch ausgezeichneten Burger nicht in vegan ummodeln konnte. Bei manchen Burgern hätte man einfach eine andere Sauce nehmen können, dann wäre es vegan gewesen, war aber zu dem Zeitpunkt auf mir unbekannten Gründen nicht möglich. Schade, dann hätte man nämlich noch viel mehr Auswahl gehabt.
Ansonsten, aber alles echt toll!
Pros: Die Burgerbrötchen sind der hammer, Schön eingerichtet, Lecker & Frisch
Cons: Nicht alles in Vegan machbar, Bisschen eng & laut, wenns voll ist

Found it by using the Happy Cow app! It's situated on Lange Reihe which is a pleasant street to browse on and very central. They do not have a huge amount on their menu - it's mainly burgers, salads, and pastries filled with vegetables, but the food was really good. I had the Gemüsetasche with salad - it was a bit like a veggie Cornish pasty, was very good and so was the salad, you could choose a dip to have with it and also choose the salad dressing. I would say about 90% of the food was vegan, there were just a couple of things with dairy. My husband is not a vegetarian but he really enjoyed the vegan burger. There is no alcohol served there but the lemonade was very tasty. Pleasant service and we liked the decor. We would go there again.

I have been several times at Fränzi for lunch. The vegan burgers are good, but the other food I had tried was disappointing. I had a curry with rice which was missing spices and also the other pastries, filled with spinach or chickpeas, were quite boring and tasteless.
