Stopped for a bite before going to see Book of Mormon at the Hippodrome. Great portions, superb falafels. Everything you could want from street food.

Favourite falafel

I spent a lot of money here as a student and come for lunch whenever I visit the city. The tahini sauce is wonderful! Great pitta too.

Good on the go

Great to be able to grab something quick on the way to Temple meads. The falafel is really good and it wasn’t too busy even at lunch so the service was fab as well

Really great fast food

Everything's delicious - just ask for no yoghurt dressing on it to make it vegan, also the spicy sauce is mega spicy, so either ask for not a lot or none at all if you don't like spicy food!

Pros: quick, well priced

Delicious and fresh

Highly recommend.
I took a stroll down her to give it a try.
The Guy serving etc, was very friendly.
I had the falafel in the wrap.
Everything was really fresh (including the salad) and falafel nice and crispy.
There was this spicy chutney sauce that i chose as the dressing and it that was awesome. It really topped off a great falafel wrap.
I will be returning

Pros: Fresh, Chutney dressing

fresh falafel, great wraps

The falafel was really fresh! The salads were really fresh! The chili sauce was very spicy, which I loved! All in all a great find. I like my falafels fried a little more, but I'll definitely be back.

Pros: fresh, yummy

Cons: no seating

Delicious & affordable Fast Food.

Been getting my late night drunken munchies for here for years as Vegetarian. Actually feels like something healthy- rather than Veggie Burger or Chips!

Since becoming Vegan I simply ask for it without Garlic Mayonnaise/ Tzatziki.

Great portion size, stuffed with freshly cooked yummy Falafels & Salad.

Pros: Opening Times- stay open late, Outdoor seating on Harbourside, Great for a Vegan meal on the go

Average

Maybe the best felafel option around, but definitely not overly impressed. Not much in the way of salad and service is slow.

Pros: Houmos, Fresh falafel

Cons: Slow, Light on the salad options

Great falafel

Lots of falafel in the pitta (you can choose if white or wholemeal), tasty humus on the base... you would eat it on and on even if the big empty oil bottles outside tell that you aren't doing an healthy thing maybe.

Pros: position

Cons: pidgeons

felafel-tastic

This is a great picnic spot by the busy harbour, great for enjoying on a sunny day. The felafel's are lovely; well cooked and fresh and tasty. Ideal for a late night snack too. Fill up at felafel king!

Pros: cheap, fresh, tasty

Cons: rainy day shelter needed!

Best Falafel in the UK

This is the best falafel I have had in the UK and is on a par with the famed Maoz brand mainly of The Netherlands and also in other cities. Coming back late off the train after a night out in Bath we stopped of here purposely on the way back to the hotel at about 1 am and picked up an exceptional falafel sandwich. Good choice of fillings and sauces and tremendous value.

Pros: super falafel, fillings, open very late

Ideal quick lunch

I've probably lost count of the amount of times I've been here over the years, but they are the best falafels I've ever had. Quick and easy food, and the extra pound for the large one is well worth it, it is seriously filling. Only downpoint is if its raining, as it only has outdoor seating, and you can also never guarentee it will be open. Sometimes its open all day and all night. Careful with the hot sauce.

Pros: Cheap food, Quick and easy

Cons: Outdoors, Varying opening times

Tasty fresh falafel in the centre of the city

Falafel van in the city centre, with tables and chairs by the waterfalls and fountains, a good place to sit and eat watching the world go by.
The falafel are crunchy and tasty, salads were good and fresh and their sauces were really good - good hot chilli sauce or mango chutney type sauce are recommended!
The large is worth the extra £1 as it is about twice as big as the small and is made up as a big wrap.
Good affordable quick food.

Pros: Location, Tasty, Cheap

Cons: No chips?!, Parking (none)

Great take-out place

Don't be wary of this falafel van by the waterfront - it doesn't look classy but it impressed me. The outdoor chairs/tables aren't ideal (especially as the pigeons have developed a fierce taste for the food!), but the food is amazing and great for take-away. Relatively limited selection, your standard falafel pitta options, but all really good, and cheap.

Pros: Excellent food, Great value for money, Good location

Cons: Only a few tables, Outdoors!
