we enjoyed our icecream at Das Eis, but nowadays there are more and more vegan options for „milk“ icecream and the value in this case didn’t really got me.

What you don’t know is, that two flavors equal about one medium scoop, so the portion is super tiny for 2,50€!
I’m willed to pay more than the average amount for a good icecream, but the value here was not convincing me unfortunately.

The Haagen-Dazs container are not creamy, quite bland and you can taste ice crystals which demonstrates very poor quality ice cream. the price is just too high for vegan and such a small amount of ice.

The rest that was offered was not so exciting or not vegan.
There are a few tiny places where you can sit. Not comfortable though and you are basically sitting in the way or better said on [censored] level of people coming in and ordering - hahaha.

Might seem a little pricey at first, but it’s totally worth it! Nice little shop, always friendly staff and the best ice-cream in Frankfurt. Loads of vegan flavours to choose from (more than just sorbets)! Organic, vegan and gluten-free available. Plus biodegradable cups and spoons.

It is a little shop with very limited opening hours (I have been twice to this place before I had luck to find it open), but inside there is a lot of variety of icecreams. The flavours are very unusual, such as matcha, popcorn, orange&almonds, etc. They are OK but they lack of something.. can't say exactly what of. The price is low.

Read moreThere was just one nice lady running the whole operation, and a pretty large range of flavours. They sell pots in the fridge for 3 euros which is are small, so i opted for 2 scoops, which were small and in a teeny cup but perfect for me.
There were i think 3 clearly marked vegan flavours, the double nut, almond orange and choc chip. The almond orange was SO YUMMY, perfectly orangey and fresh, i wish id gotten 2 of just that! I wasnt a big fan of the choc chip, there were chunks of marzipan in which are very sweet for my taste, but its all down to preference :)
Its so great to have some choice for vegan icecream, and so central! Big thumbs up for this place

Unfortunately, 15-30 minutes prior closing time the V-Flavours are taken out of the shelf and are not available (means they are not sold out, the staff tends to start tidying up too early), although the store is open.
Coffee options with soya and almond milk!

They dont have thousands different sorts of ice BUT they do have unique sorts of ice-tastes with one of the best quality I´ve ever tasted. ( And I´ve been to italy. SO that definitely means something.)
They really use the taste of different vegan ingridients and mix it up so it definitely is a must-go!
Some of their sorts are not vegan. but don´t be afraid. even Vegans do have a good range of choices there. Also every vegan Sort is marked with the "V"
Pros: unique, normal prices despite the A+ Quality, friendly staff, nicely located
