Never again

I was embarrassed I suggested we eat here. I will never eat here again.

That said, if you HAVE to go, here is how to make the best of it:

- The patio is a gem. So cute and hip. The interior is stylish.

- Order a cocktail and a couple small dishes. Don't try to make a meal of it. (We spent close to $50pp on FOOD ALONE and went home hungry)

- Order the appam and the Trinidad doubles. Nothing out of this world, but the best vegan/vegetarian things on the menu.

- Avoid the vegan saar dish. It was- I kid you not- a SINGLE, undercooked carrot in a sauce that tasted like plain pureed tomatoes out of a can... for $28. Looking at the menu now, it was supposed to have some potato thing as part of the dish (it didn't).

On top of everything, they make all these saucy dishes and then nickel and dime you on getting poor quality rice with it.

Service was slow, unattentive, and insincere. I would have loved to share how disappointed we were so we could have talked about it there, but the music was so loud and no one stopped long enough to genuinely ask about our experience, and so I'm leaving this review instead.

Pros: Gorgeous patio, Hip atmosphere , Interesting cocktails ($13+ each)

Cons: Some truly terrible dishes, Expensive, Insincere, dishonest, lackluster service
