This location is counter service and features a smaller more focused menu then our other Café Gratitude locations. Situated behind their sister restaurant Gracias Madre. All vegan with the exception of honey. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-4:00pm.

All of the food is served “to go”, you eat outside, serve yourself with plastic utensils and cocktail napkins. My salad was romaine lettuce whole (and browning).. not chopped at all, with tempeh and a very small dressing on the side! That was over $18! We also ordered breakfast. My bf liked his burrito. I got like a vegan omelette (can’t remember the name - I am whole or complete)? I liked it but it was just egg with veggies (fine - veggies good) and daya cheese with maybe 4 cut up, fingerling potatoes. We also split a root beer kombucha! I was bringing the salad to work- wanted something done and ready to eat- this doesn’t work!

Another thing, the “cafe” is located behind gracias Madre. There is no option to eat inside, they literally brought the food out on a brown paper bag with plastic utensils and no napkins! No restrooms available either! Unbelievably bad!

Café Gratitude is located behind Gracias Madre and in the same family. This location is small compared to the San Diego location I visited last week. The food however is just as good.
Read moreI went with the breakfast burrito, an a I am sincere for dessert. The burrito was yummy and had just a slight hint of spice. You get a side and I chose chips. The dessert was also good.

Great Caesar salad - Edit
I got the Caesar salad and sweet potatoes with chipotle mayo dip. One of the best lunches I have had in a long time. Very flavorful! They also have cakes and breakfast breads, coffee drinks too! Only outdoor seating at this location.

The breakfast burritos and dessert are great! The kimchi was a bit too salty. It’s relatively expensive though. Smoothies / coffee for $7 is a bit much.
