Absolutely loved the range of food here spanning a lot of Asia and mainly Vietnamese. I had the Singapore noodles with vegan shrimp and pork and they were phenomenal. Portion sizes were huge too

I came here for lunch and tried the vegan beef bánh mì, which was really tasty! The bread was so fresh, the pickled vegetables were delicious and not too overpowering, and the vegan beef was amazing. I also tried the vegan spring rolls, which I enjoyed.

The tables are a bit small but the welcome was friendly and the food tasty. Pretty reasonably priced at £80 for 4 people to have lunch too.

Offering some of the finest vegan Pho in the country, this place boasts incredibly helpful staff and a notably dog-friendly atmosphere. While I have a minor suggestion for improvement—clarifying on the menu where dishes are vegetarian rather than vegan—the menu already predominantly features vegan options. In fact, they have such an extensive range of vegan choices that it begs the question of why not make the transition to 100% vegan. I, for one, would certainly appreciate it!

We had a takeaway from Buddha Taste. The menu is very well labelled so there's no confusion with what is veggie or vegan. It's extensive and took ages to narrow down my choices! I had the sweet and sour tofu, my husband had a baguette. Both where delicious

Lovely meat-free cafe with snack/sharing options, sandwiches and meals. Baby and child-friendly and accessible for buggies and pushchairs. Friendly staff and relaxed feel. Highly recommend!

Some of the best vegan Pho in the country, super helpful staff and very dog friendly too. If I had one area for improvement, it would be that the menu could be a little more explicitly clear in pointing out where the food is vegetarian rather than vegan - to be honest though, they have almost entirely vegan options to the point where I'm not sure why they don't just go 100% vegan - I for one would appreciate it!

What a wonderful discovery. I found this fascinating petit eatery simply by searching “Food” in Google Maps. My oh my was I so happy to discover Buddha Taste.
Read moreAt first I was saddened when I arrived, around 6pm, as it was closed inside, but apparently it was temporarily so, and they were re-opening the inside the next day. But I nonetheless was happy to eat outside as it was a pleasant early evening. The staff were friendly and they kindly placed a table and chair for me outside their eatery.
The food was some of the best vegan dishes I have experienced eating in the UK. The Nil-Chicken was so fragrant and delicious, and really did taste like chicken with a nice, lightly chewy texture. It included a refreshing pickled salad, a delicious, slightly thick satay (peanut) sauce and plain rice. The side Slaw was also refreshing and had a nice crunch. The Matcha Brown Sugar Milk Tea was gorgeous. I opted for the Coconut Milk version which had tasty large chunks of coconut to chew on.
I can’t wait to revisit Buddha Taste whenever I am in the area again.

I can’t give an overall review as I didn’t get anything to eat- but upon trying the bubble tea, it wasn’t great. The taste of the actual drink was ok.. nothing special but it was nice. The balls were very cold however as the drink had ice- even asking for no ice! So in other words, tapioca didn’t taste fresh and soft.

And they added ice after we asked them not too so there was even less drink!!!
So dissatisfied and would really appreciate if these errors could be fixed as it could’ve been a great addition to blackheath village.

Standard tapioca cooking batches on the market is 3-4 hours, we had improved our cooking process to make tapioca in smaller batches and overlaying time between batches reduced down to 1 hour. This improvement has helped us producing soft tapioca for longer and no food waste (at all), that's already better than the market's standard.

We're sorry that the ice-level didn't meet your request. Perhaps the smaller ice cubes slipped through the pouring jug whilst our colleagues making the drink and didn't notice it.

I enjoyed the vegan chicken banh mi (baguette) and the ingredients l tasted really fresh. Dining in, it cost ~£7, takeaway is £6.50. Mains cost £10 from what I can remember. Bubble teas looked great but I didn't try one. Friendly staff.
Read moreUnfortunately they do not use vegan indicators on the two page menu making it really difficult to figure out what was actually vegan. Roughly 3/4 of the options were vegan. The vegetarian options tended to contain egg.
You have to read the entire list of ingredients for every single option to figure it out. A simple green V would have made it so much easier and is common practice nowadays, so it's puzzling why a vegetarian restaurant wouldn't use such an indicator. I suggested it to the waitress, hopefully she'll pass on the feedback.
