Variety on one shared platter!

The vegan platter offered 8 distinct offerings ready to scoop up with the freely flowing basket of injira (bread/crepe). All were quite different and ranged in spiciness from zero to mild .
Straff is friendly and solicitous.
Patio/garden seating is beautiful, I a quiet neighborhood setting.

Pros: Outdoor seating, Clearly presented vegan choices. , Staff w great attitude

I recommend the Miser and the Fasolia. Those were my favorites.

Enjoyed it

We ordered take out, and the building was beautiful. Brought the food back and it was flavorful, not as spicy as I'm used to but that's ok. The injera cost extra which was weird? And apparently it's not gluten free? But they are very accommodating.

Great place!

Great place that doesn’t use plastic for take-out. We always order the veggie sampler, and it is delicious. They also have a patio!

Good; Room for Improvement

The Super Veggie combo is a good way to try most of their vegan options. Most of the combo was excellent, which the exception of the shiro and the misir wot, which was strangely lacking in flavor and spice. The two things misir wot is typically chock full of. The gomen was ok.

Mitmita fries were very good.

I was charged $5 for gluten-free injera. It was never explained to me that injera was extra or that gluten-free injera would be extra. The more I thought about the more I did not appreciate the surprise charge.

Veg forward family-run

They took time to explain their menu & clearly knew what was vegan vs vegetarian. I have had the veggi sampler twice and it is amazing - easily two meals for me. Ordering online for pickup was the way to go once I understood the menu better.
