Plant-based cafe: vegan food with delightful flavors

Nestled in with a small shop, Ananda Cafe offers positive vibes and flavorful food. I tried the lunch plate, offering breaded soy meat cutlets, salad, flavored veggies, and fried potato, as well as non-dairy fruit smoothies, soy-milk matcha latte, and vegan cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and left my body and spirit smiling.

Great lunch and friendly englishspeaking staff

Every day they have a different lunch menu for around 1300 yen. We enjoyed it so much! It was delicious. The owner is really friendly and speaks good English. Besides you can buy a lot of vegan and eco-friendly products and food. They also serve drinks and cake.

Pros: Delicious and fresh food, Cozy atmosphere, Friendly staff

Little Bohemian Shop: Delicious vegan food, ethically sourced shop, and a kind owner! What more could you want?

The owner of Ananda is a kind lady who lived in California and thus speaks excellent English. There's an English menu too, which is nice if you don't speak/read Japanese. She offers a set Japanese menu that changes seasonally and delicious vegan sweets with various teas , coffees, and juices. The restaurant and store have a very bohemian coffee-shop vibe and a cozy, tucked away feel--- perfect for sitting and chatting with a friend over good food and tea. The shop has vegan and ethically sourced foods, soaps and cleaning products, and hand-made clothes and bags. They sell some of the best vegan cheddar cheese I've ever had and other hard-to-get vegan products in Japan--- which is a huge selling point for me!

Pros: Delicious and filling food, Kind owner, Hard-to-find vegan products and foods
