Petit restaurant très sympathique où tout est fait maison ! Produits locaux de saison, un régal pour les papilles ! Bien qu’il porte le label « végétarien » tout est vegan et sans gluten ! J’ai testé pour vous les succulentes lasagnes de courgettes au pesto, le smoothie concombre/menthe/pomme et le fondant au chocolat, un vrai délice ! Et pour ne rien gâcher la patronne est fort sympathique ! Merci encore pour votre accueil et à très bientôt.

Ridiculous place! As it was completely empty. But would not offer place without booking. Only place on town to be vegan and really bad hospitality for people just looking for vegan food.

Freshly made to order food. We were pleased to find this cafe as it is hard to find vegan food nearby. We had le bowl de la cheffe- which included lentils, rice, sweet potato, tofu and greens. Also had the courgette tart. Both delicious and tasty

I loved finding this vegan restaurant while traveling in the area. The owner was very friendly and we were happy to support such a small local restaurant. The food was good and very healthy, which was a nice change from “on the go travel food”. The budda bowl could maybe use a nice tasty sauce on top, but other than that it was very good.

Comme je me suis régalée avec les lasagnes crues, avec le buddha bowl...et comment parler de la gourmandise des desserts, ils étaients succulents, la panna cotta et le fondant chocolat....c'était vraiment à tomber ! tout était super bon !!!! de passage pour les vacances, et déjà hélas rentrée, j'aurai déjà envie d'y retourner. merci ! ....sandra cuisinière à lyon

Découvert complètement par hasard en cherchant un endroit où manger. Nous avons bien mangé (entrée, plat principal, dessert). Je donne une bonne note pour cela, mais un effort devrait absolument être fait au niveau de l’ambiance (l’endroit manque cruellement de charme). L’impossibilité de payer par carte en 2020 est aussi vraiment inexcusable.

If it weren't seemingly the only vegan establishment in this area of France then I would doubt this café would exist. The food was tastesless, decor tacky and toilets unfit for purpose - no soap or toilet paper. The mint and courgette tart tasted like it was made with toothpaste and the lasagne was an uninspired stack of vegetables albeit with a surprisingly good pesto. I would not recommend "Ah! La Belle Histoire" to anyone.

Had gaspacho and carrot almond terrine for starters, and tomatoes Zucchini raw lasagnas and Buddha bowl for main meals. Everything was very tasty and we definitely recommend the terrine and the raw lasagnas! After many days of low veg diets (mainly galettes meals) we are definitely happy to finally find a vegan restaurant! Definitely recommend

Truly a beautiful story - Edit
I've been there with my girlfriend (both vegan) and we were amazed. We felt like at home. 100% vegan menu, great dishes made with love and genuine ingredients by the woman who run the restaurant. During the summer she's helped by her lovely daughter. Must try the Budda bowl and the dark chocolate.Best coffee of the area.

Read moreIt is right in the centre of Concarneau, in a little side- street nearly opposite the walled city, easy for parking. The restaurant itself is very small, size living-room, with little tables dotted around, it has a nice, homely. The owner & chef, is lovely, friendly & very welcoming. The food was delish, made to order and very fresh. We ate it all, and even ordered an extra dish as we loved it so much. Can definitely recommend & will definitely return!

Confusing menu but maybe our limited French - Edit
Easy to find near the harbour. Limited opening hours. Our French is limited so that could be why we found the set menus to be confusing and more expensive than we had calculated. We were expecting the soup to be hot but it wasn't. Our lasagne was pleasant if a touch heavy on the mint flavouring. There was not a large choice of food available.

We visited twice during our holiday, once for lunch and once for dinner. Great food, good choice and reasonably priced. Owner spoke English better than our French which was handy.
Also got directions to a health food store nearby, which was useful as thought we might have to drive to Quimper.

Only vegan restaurant in Brittany - Edit
This place is fantastic. It's actually 100% vegan now, organic, and gluten free if that's a concern. The food is awesome, my first taste of traditional Brittany/French cuisine. The owner does everything which is quite impressive, and the atmosphere is very nice. I highly recommend stopping by if you're vegetarian or vegan and want to explore French food.

The restaurant is very nice and is located in the center of the city so it's perfect for all tourist that what to eat something before or after visiting the old part of the city. Both the waitress and the cook were very nice and the food was delicious. The price is quite affordable and it's definitely worth it.
