La comida rica pero el trato pesimo - Edit

La comida estaba muy buena, pero hay sitios en donde te atienden mejor, te ofrecen una sonrisa almenos.
Si no te gusta tu trabajo cambiarlo pero no lo pagues con los clientes

Activist hub serving lovely food - Edit

During my staying in Vigo with my partner, I was curious to try out a vegan restaurant. Based on the HappyCow recommendations, I picked A Cova Dos Ratos as a purely vegan and highly appriciated place.

The place is more of a meeting hub for local activism that serves food too. It represents many ongoing, exciting initiatives of Vigo and itself also gives space for various events.

There are daily lunch offers for a fair price. We enjoyed the food a lot, it was prepared with much love and care. To be honest, there was also too much use of garlic, almost everything had garlic. They have an impressive selection of herbal teas and the staff is knowledgeable about their health benefits.

The place has an absolutely friendly, cosy atmosphere. We had a little siesta there after finishing our lunch.

Pros: delicious lunch menu, fair price, cozy athmosphere

Cons: too much garlic

Great place as they do local anti-fascist activism, agroecology and menu for a good price. Do not expect great quality/tastes, but anyway is a great deal and a nice place to stay and enjoy reading.

vegan autonomous social center - Edit

A cova dos ratos is a really low-budget place wih an anti-capitalist d.i.y. mentality.
I have been here 3 or 4 times and eaten at least twice.
It was the only place to have a safe vegan meal with a really low budget, but I cannot be so satisfied when it comes to the taste of the food, it was ok.

A place to visit when there's a chance.

Pros: Price, Friendly, Autonomous Social Center

Cons: Not in the center, Food not that great

simple, cheap and 100% vegan - Edit

This is an oasis in Galicia! I've been doing the Camino de Santiago and there is no concept of vegetarian or vegan food along the way. So arriving at Vigo and being able to have some homemade food was incredible!
