My favourite place to get food at the end of a drunk night out. I wish they fried the fake bacon instead of microwaving it, but they would probably have to put it on the meat grill so I understand why they don’t.

Went there years ago for a hot dog. Was ok. I had a ‘chicken’ burger and chips with gravy this time. They were ok but too expensive for what they were. Probably wouldn’t get again.

Vegan hot dog average. Have to pay for sauces i hate that. Chips far too salty and when i got chips cheese and gravy they put it in a tall box so the topping is only on a few chips at the top. Need wider boxes and less salt.

I have been to 5 Dogs multiple times and I am always amazed on how good their vegan hot dogs and poutine is. Everyone is polite, food is fast, and they are open really late. Many vegans such as myself enjoy night life but struggle finding an actual vegan place to eat at.

Always wanted to try Poutine, and the vegan version doesn't disappoint! The gravy is so rich, its the sort of food you can only eat every now and then.
Read moreI believe they use Tofurky hot dogs as well, and the combo with the toppings has converted me to sauerkraut. The texture is borderline life-like, so if you aren't a fan of mock meats I'd stick to the fries.
The location is also great for an after clubbing treat.

This place is central in the valley mall. They have different hot dogs you can add your favourite toppings to ie, vegan bacon, cheese and mayo. My favourite thing from 5 dogs is the poutine hot chips with gravy and cheese. I think it's the best gravy in Brisbane. Great for the end of a night out as it is open late.

I had a very tasty vegan hot dog ... 5 Dogs is moderately priced for great tasting fast food with vego and vegan options ... the best value for money is their two-for-one Tuesday ... 5 Dogs is a small food stall located in the Valley Mall near McDonalds with heaps of hot dog options

These vegan hot dogs are 5 stars. They are delicious. Just the perfect amount of kraut, onions and mustard. The Death Sauce for $1 extra is seriously hot. My husband was thrilled with it, so he bought a bottle. The lady there was super friendly and we will definitely be returning. Perfect meal for when you want to be a bit unhealthy.

Early evening a few months ago we are loitering around trying to find a quick vegan meal in the valley before a long drive, as a lark i suggested we try this hotdog stand i could see halfway up...haha, sure!..AS IF there will be vegan options. Dude they totally have vegan hotdogs!!! and thus began my love of 5 dogs in the valley. The staff have never confused our order even when eating there with carnies, and they are friendly and efficient. i wholeheartedly suggest both vegan dogs in one sitting for the full experience! The added soy cheese is nice but id really love the "bacon" to be fried a bit or something. Its great to know there is a quick, late night, hot dog solution to my "fast food style" cravings...sometimes sitting down to eat asian/western vegan style or a curry or salad wrap or something isnt what im after..i just want a cheeseburger or a hotdog. this place gives me that...long term vegans might understand..lol.
